The name sounds scary, let's learn about what "breast lobular carcinoma in situ" is!

 The cancer is confined to the breast lobules, and although it has not spread, lobular carcinoma in situ increases a woman's risk of developing invasive breast cancer later in life. Therefore, women with breast lobular carcinoma in situ must have 2-3 annual physical examinations and annual mammography examinations, and breast ultrasound-assisted diagnosis.

In fact, the American Cancer Society has downgraded lobular carcinoma in situ in 2018, so it may no longer be classified as cancer in the United States. On the day the doctor explained to Xingxing, he also mentioned this point so that Xingxing would not be too nervous. Although there is no risk of spreading, there is a 30% chance of transforming into a malignant tumor that will spread. Of course, doctors recommend taking it out. Adhering to the belief that long pain is worse than short pain, Xingxing decided to have an operation two weeks later, and it was successfully completed at the end of last year!
