A few questions to ask about God, I mean, ask yourself first (2)

After the first set of questions , let's discuss a more thorny one.

Regardless of whether you believe in gods or not, or which religion you believe in, I want to ask a question here.

What is God?

Yes, I asked the question the other way round. The previous article talked about whether you believe it, hope it, feel it, etc. But what we should actually do is to first define “what” God really is.

Yes, if you were to compile a dictionary today, how would you help define the word God?

This is a big trouble. How do you define God? You might look up such religious books, myths, folklore. Yes, no matter what religion you believe in, if you are asked to make a dictionary, you will understand that you need to look up various sources to be "complete".

Wait, so your letter wasn't complete enough? Seems like something weird. Or there is a person who does not believe in God and thinks that religion is all superstition, so how can you help God define it?

From this question, the situation becomes very complicated, and you will find that it is almost impossible to come up with a very direct definition, because if you have a very direct definition, "that is actually your religion" (for example, I believe in Christianity , you believe in "non-religion" -- yes, this is also a religion), and you are well aware that we live in a world with many religious beliefs, and even I dare to say arbitrarily, how many are there in this world? There are as many religious beliefs as there are people, because everyone still has some differences in the definition of God, and this difference defines the difference between your values and others - it also defines yourself.

So what is God? Some kind of supernatural force? So is it super natural or super unnatural? Is there a personality? Or the Godhead is not a personality (this brings up a new question, what is the difference between the Godhead and the personality?), is there a source of God’s power? Are there any restrictions? Where did God come from? Where is God going?

Yes, the big question of philosophy to human beings is where do people come from and where they are going, so the ultimate answer of philosophy can only be theology, or conversely, a decent theological explanation will have a philosophical flavor -- and also with science Breath, because philosophy and science are both derivatives of theology, and if philosophy and science are separated from theology, they will become deceitful things. If you have the ability to understand theology without going through philosophy and science, I usually call you a liar. (Of course, it’s not impossible to get away from it. Science and philosophy are separated from theology and become simply tools of application, not tools of exploration).

In short, you have to explain God, yes, this is very contradictory. On the one hand, we feel that God is above us and is an object worthy of reverence (or bribe, depending on how you define God), but the God in our heads is It needs to be defined by us. You may not have the ability to define your wife or father so clearly, but talking about God is such a hassle.

So does God become a concept that has to be defined before it can exist?

Otherwise I'll ask a different question, " What do you want God to do for you? "

This question is actually very strange. So, is faith in God in order to ask God to do something for you? Or we ask the other way around, "What do you think God wants you to do for Him?"... Wait, the question is just as strange, what would God be like without you? Why does God need you? The theology of some religions (especially popular with novelists) is that if a god is not worshipped, his power will decline and eventually disappear. In this way, these gods are inferior to people...

Otherwise, we are changing the question, "What power does God have?", "Can God not die?", "Can God do nothing wrong?", "Does God like me?", "God is good ?"……

Yes, we can ask a lot of these questions to explore the "boundary" of God. Of course, different religions have different boundaries for God, and "non-religious" believers, although they say they have no gods, actually like to be gods the most. It’s them who are begging, they just turn their backs because they can’t get it, or they will claim that if they get it, they will believe it. Although it is a huge baby, it is also proof that your life is very good. After all, most people don’t see the coffin. Tears, little time spent exploring this root cause.

But now I want to ask you, as long as you can convince yourself, " What is God? "

It's good that you know the answer yourself, and we will keep going back to this question in the next discussion.

As for my answer, I can only say that God is the creator, the existence that sets all the rules, the creator of all physics, mathematics, time and space. Don’t ask me who created God, whoever is created is not qualified to be called God (in other words, all gods outside the definition of monotheism are not qualified to be called God), the “I AM” who “has no creator” , is the God I know.

I want to explain that it is not the God I believe in that has these abilities, but only those who meet these definitions are regarded as gods by me, but God is beyond these human definitions, and He still exists without my definitions, but my definitions are actually on the contrary. It is impossible to express the infinite degree of God, because in fact, I cannot fully define God, and I can only give you one-sided information, that is, the range that I know.

As for you saying that you don't believe this, no problem, I can only answer "Can you prove what I said is wrong?"

Of course, this answer is disturbing and kind, because "belief" does not require evidence, and evidence is called "knowing", so to me, your attitude is not a question of belief or not, but a question of knowledge and ignorance, because I I have already answered the previous post, and I "know" that there is a God.

Of course, for polytheism, the definition of God can be very loose, it is a question of the use of words, and in some ways it is a question of the definition of words. But if he can't help himself, is he still a god? For example, the Taoist officialdom culture or the mandala bureaucracy, what are the other things besides the core one? And then does the core one need a bunch of other assistance, because he can't do anything in some places, can that be considered a god?

oh! Here comes a good question, we will continue with the next article.
