Picture Book "A Very Busy New Year's Eve" | My New Year's Eve Ceremony

Yesterday, I spent a whole day concentrating on finishing the more than 300 pages of the second volume of the novel "The Box of Sprites". I am quite touched by this passage in the book:

There is a great distance between what is reality for me and what is reality for her. There is as much reality as there is consciousness. There are a hundred people there are a hundred kinds of realities, and there are a thousand people there are a thousand kinds of realities, and these realities are different from each other. And not slightly different, but totally different. Communication cannot work without forcing yourself to believe that these realities are the same. As long as you can force yourself to believe, there is no problem; but if there is a little doubt, the mutual trust will be broken immediately.
If you deny everything other than yourself, you will isolate yourself; if you deny your own words—(abbreviated below)—P.25

The Chinese New Year is coming in a few days. I don't know if the New Year emphasizes the word "reunion" too much. No matter how close people are, they are crowded together for a long time after a long absence. In addition to being moved, their emotions are easily triggered. It goes up to parents, mother-in-law, daughter-in-law, Relatives, down to children, can't hide their own reality at this moment, and they also long for the other party to understand their own reality. So sometimes my New Year's festival doesn't end as expected (laughs).

But for the upcoming New Year, I am looking forward to it. I like to clean up, say goodbye, reunion dinner, paste Spring Festival couplets, set off firecrackers, keep the year old and other activities as always. These things overlap with the past and always have a special charm. It can also be said that It's a sense of ceremony. I believe that after the lively and festive eradication of the old and the new, there will be a new atmosphere in the new year. Therefore, sometimes there is no need to buy New Year's goods, but still go to the market to hang out, or play popular music for the occasion, to liven up the atmosphere of the New Year.

"A Very Busy New Year's Eve" is a picture book that fell in love with at first sight when I casually strolled to the children's book sale with my friends. It almost presents its own New Year's ceremonies from childhood to adulthood, showing the ordinary past with lovely and vivid pictures.

About New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve is very busy.
My brother and I got up early in the morning.
prepare new year dishes

Carrot cake, rice cake and white pomfret are all must-have dishes for Chinese New Year.

Mom is very busy, busy cooking. She is as good as a master chef and can cook a whole table of New Year's Eve dinner. My mother asked my brother and I to go to the side to play, and we promise to help us not to make trouble.

Children have a kind of help called a disservice (laughs).

Mom's cooking is praised by everyone, but compared to a big chef,
She is more suitable to be a police officer, my brother and I were caught stealing a few pieces of rice cakes!
Bye-Bye

Look how vivid the painting of this god table is.

Grandma is very busy, busy saying goodbye. It was another toast and another arrangement of flowers. Seeing that my grandmother was too busy by herself, my brother and I helped bring the food to the table.

Grandma's spell didn't fly away in pain, but the gods were watching them.

The younger brother ran too fast and fell, and the plate broke into several pieces! Grandma immediately recited, "Happy New Year! Shattered and broken, peace every year." Wow! Grandma can actually spell spells, it's amazing!
clean up

When I was a kid, I cleaned my window screens the same way.

Grandpa is very busy, busy cleaning. Seeing my grandpa working so hard, my brother and I also came to help, washing the floor and windows.

Grandpa ~ collapsed ~ collapsed ~

Wash and wash, brush and brush, the soap bubbles pop up like snowflakes, my brother and I are laughing and laughing, and we are not afraid of being scolded! Because Grandpa said that on New Year's Eve, you can't curse or quarrel, you can only say good things.
New Year's Street

Change dad to bring this pair of living treasures.

The New Year's Street is really lively. My brother Kuang and I went to stall after stall, and the aunt who sold candy shouted, "Eat sweet, make a lot of money, eat sweet, it's a good New Year!"
Pasting Spring Festival couplets
When I got home, my father was just as busy, busy climbing up and down to post Spring Festival couplets. My brother and I were not idle either. We helped Dad to post together. Even the dog house in Dahei was replaced with the Spring Festival couplets we wrote.
The main event is coming, the reunion dinner
Have a New Year's Eve dinner!
Grandma said, "Eat long-term vegetables and live a hundred years."
Grandpa said: "Eat fish, every year is more than enough."
Mom said, "Eat the cabbage, it's good luck."
Dad said, "I have to eat everything. Mom's cooking is the best!"
My brother and I said, "Gong Xi Fa Cai, bring the red envelopes!"
keep the year old

At this point, you can't help but gamble.

After dinner, relatives and friends get together, chat, play games, and wait for the new year to come!

There is a kind of red envelope called I don't know where the adults will help you save it.

After a busy day, my brother and I finally had time to count the red envelopes. Mom suddenly appeared and said, "Remember to put the red envelope under the pillow, it can attract the god of wealth and ensure safety. After the New Year, I will hand it over to you. I will save it for you and give it to you when you grow up."
good night ah! Lunar New Year's eve!

Due to the restrictions of the epidemic, the feeling of Spring Festival this year is very weak. Compared with going out for a walk, everyone may spend more time on the Internet. I hope that through this childlike picture book, I can also add some joy to the Chinese New Year. I wish everyone a happy New Year in advance and everything goes well. :)
