do you know?

You and I both have a bank that automatically deposits $86,400 every morning.

However, account balances cannot be carried over to tomorrow and can only be used that day.

Can you guess what kind of bank it is?

The answer is - " Time Bank ."

Peter Dulac said, " Time is the scarcest resource, and if you can't manage time, you can't manage anything else ."

Next, I will share with you the three secrets of time management.

I hope it can help you make breakthroughs, be consistent with your words and deeds, and become the real responsible person in your life !

Two, the three secrets of time management:

1. Time matrix (four quadrants):

What is the first step in time management ?

You can first divide all things into four quadrants . The following examples are for your reference: (The reference article is attached at the end of the article)

  • A: Important and urgent: crises, emergencies, tasks with deadlines, etc.
  • B: Important but not urgent: exercise, reading, personal growth planning, etc.
  • C: Not important, not urgent: surfing the Internet, watching TV, playing video games, etc.
  • D: Unimportant Urgent: Uninvited guests, unimportant letters, etc.

Remember, at this stage, it is very important that you must - prioritize things and put them in the right place .

2. Fixed schedule:

Just after sorting by the time matrix (four quadrants), if you have encountered the following problems:

He clearly planned the important things he had to do every day in advance, but at the end of the inspection, he found out: " Why is there always a gap between what you think and what you do ?"

At this time, what you need is a " fixed schedule ", which is to do fixed important things at a fixed time .

Once it becomes a habit, it will naturally become a part of your life.

There are related videos of about 7 minutes, you can take time to watch (there are other extended viewpoints and techniques):

3. Offensive calendar:

A large-scale task is always habitually procrastinated. Do you wait until the deadline is approaching before cramming again ? How to arrange the progress and implement the things like this that cannot be completed in a few days ?

"Offensive Calendar" helps you turn passive into active (refer to the article attached at the end of the article), and set up a thorough schedule at your own pace. There are seven steps as follows:

  • Make a list of that big task and set a deadline
  • Break down large tasks into smaller tasks
  • Time to think about each small task
  • Fill in the calendar according to the order of tasks and the time required for each item
  • Check and make sure that the plan can be completed a week before the deadline , so as to allow buffer time in advance to avoid being affected by unexpected situations
  • Execute according to the plan, review every day, record the progress or status truthfully, and revise the calendar in a timely manner
  • After major tasks are completed on schedule, review the process to see if there is anything that could be better or improved

Three secrets, have you learned it?

Now, it's time for you to practice changing!

Three, practice changes:

Don't forget, theory must be matched with action , and you will become the master of time .

Please take out a pen and paper or a tool that is convenient for you to think and record:

  • List all your to -dos
  • Prioritize matters and fill in the four quadrants
  • Important matters, please write down your "fixed schedule" time , such as: 7:00 to 9:00 every morning, fixed writing
  • If you have extra large tasks , please refer to the above seven steps
  • Do it, review it every day, and develop a good habit
