I'm definitely a beauty person, so the main reason I started working out was to look better rather than to be healthier, I wanted to use fitness to gain weight and muscle mass, of course when I started exercising this After getting used to it, health also becomes a side-effect. At the end of 2004, a fitness center was promoting the fitness discount of "One person's price, two people walking together. The monthly fee for one person is only HK$140 per month. Under the recommendation of a female colleague, we signed up for membership together. When I went to the gym, of course, I was stared at by those "big guys" and smiled at me. Many people who were just starting out also chose to give up because they couldn't stand the gazes of others, but fortunately I am A person who never pays attention to other people's eyes and feelings is the so-called "I have my freedom, I'm lazy to care about your feelings." Besides, if I'm in good shape, why should I pay to go to the gym? Is anyone a natural bodybuilder?


That's it, I started to practice without change, and gradually I became obsessed with fitness, and it was not a normal addiction, but like a drug addiction, I would feel uncomfortable if I didn't go to the gym for a day. It is an unparalleled pleasure to lift those heavy iron blocks until you are exhausted and throw the iron blocks on the ground! At that time, I was working as an office merchandising clerk. It was a boring job that never had to work overtime. Life was very regular, and at that time, being single was boring and had nothing to do. So every day after get off work on time, I would meet my friends to go to the gym. At least two hours, after the exercise, you must use the fitness room's bathing and sauna facilities, and use the shampoo and shower gel provided there, and then go home for dinner. Sometimes I even go to the gym eight times a week, that is to say, I exercise twice on one day. On Sunday morning, I exercise chest and abdomen with friend A, go to eat lunch at noon, and exercise back legs with friend B in the afternoon. Friends joked that if I did this, the gym would lose money to me. Later, I reached the "plain state" that every athlete encounters, that is, no matter how much you lift, you can't lift any heavier, and the weight has stopped rising. At this time, I began to study various supplements, such as eating whey protein (milk protein). Albumin, used to build and repair muscle) and gainer (weight gain powder, increase body weight), and creatine (increase muscle endurance), these supplements cost more than HK$500 a bottle, which costs a lot, and each bottle is about usable Maybe a month, but I still ate for a few years in order to perform better, thankfully there were no other hobbies and expenses at that time. After using the supplements, there was indeed a noticeable increase in strength and endurance.

With the unique conditions of my body, I never have to stop eating any soda, fried chicken, oil, salt and sugar, and I will not get fat even if I eat fat beef hot pot crazy. After a lot of exercise, my weight has increased by 30 pounds in 3 years, but All the gains are muscle, and the fat percentage can still be maintained at the level of an athlete below 5%. At its best, I can press 70 pounds of dumbbells with one hand and 140 pounds on both sides for ten reps, which is heavier than my body weight.

After 3 years of fitness, exercise has had a remarkable effect on me. Every time I go out with my friends, my friends are discussing my body shape. Compared with the previous me, the current me has changed a lot. In 2010, I didn't even have a little cold. In winter, the temperature was only 10°C, but I was still wearing a vest and eating ice cream on the street. There seemed to be a steady stream of energy pouring out of my body. A few times in the gym I was asked by strangers to teach me how to train a certain part of the muscles, and a friend who was encouraged by me to exercise together finally got the fitness trainer license.

At that time, it had been promoted and made some jokes. One day, I passed a fitness center (now closed) that was famous for stalking sales in Tsim Sha Tsui Street. The salesman grabbed me and said, "Come here, sir, you must join our fitness program." I replied, "I'm so much stronger than you, you're not convincing." He couldn't find any reason to refute me, so he had to let me go. 😂😂😂 Once again, I went to the fitness center to renew my contract. Usually, when I sign a new contract, I will provide a free test of the muscle and fat ratio of the whole body. Courses, because the physique of the average person will inevitably have shortcomings, he will persuade you to buy fitness courses from your physical weakness, so that you can't find a reason to refute him, news often reports that people have been accused of being cheated by a fitness center card for more than ten Ten thousand yuan is one of these, and when I finished the test, the personal trainer said: "...From the report, the muscle mass in your whole body is generally above the level, but the proportion of body fat is low, only 3%.. .. It's basically nothing...", "OK, I can go back and eat more greasy food." I replied, and then he was speechless and watched me leave. 😂😂😂


After that, because I changed my job in event marketing, my personal time was almost zero, but fortunately, with the foundation of my continuous practice for several years, I could maintain my line by doing any exercise, and the frequency of exercise was reduced to two or three times a week. The pressure and the anger of my boss have become the motivation for me to break through myself and vent my bad emotions through fitness. Once my mother looked at my figure after watching TV, and asked me: Why can Liu Kaiwei be the spokesperson of the men's body sculpting company? Yes, the figure shown in the hard photos of Hawick Lau's advertisement at that time is already the figure that many men dream of, but to me, this is nothing at all, he is still a little too thin.

In 2010, because of the great changes at home, it hit me hard. Depressed, I didn't exercise for almost a whole year, and I couldn't eat too much. I lost 20 pounds in one year.

It was not until I finally got out of the bottom in 2011 that I regained the habit of fitness again. It turned out that I used to exercise too frequently, so my muscles didn't grow much because I didn't get enough rest. After that, I exercised twice a week, and my muscles instantly became a lot bigger. It was a little exaggerated. pounds, and my arms are bigger than mine.

After 2012, I went to Australia for a working holiday. Because I have been doing manual labor for a long time, my body has been reduced to the bodybuilding lines of Bruce Lee.

The habit of fitness has not only changed me a lot, but also brought me a lot of inspiration. It taught me never to say "I can't", "These opportunities don't belong to me", and those who give up before they try are will never succeed. I believe that a common thing, as long as you persevere, keep doing it, keep doing it, a thousand times, 10,000 times, over time, you can become an expert in a certain area.
