Speculative fiction: spirit, chopsticks, fairy tales
In August, I read three mystery novels in a row: "Detective Ice Room. Spirit" , "Chopsticks: Strange Stories and Strange Stories" , " Magic Flute: Fairy Tale Reasoning Event Book ". All three books have a common theme: Weird.
"Detective Ice Room. Spirit is the second collection of works by Hong Kong mystery writers after the previous one, Detective Ice Room. 6 authors, 5 continue. In the previous book, the author of Wen Shan was changed to another author, Morris. Since this episode is titled "Spirit", the stories are all supernatural, and some are bloody (thinking about it, it feels so bloody). Also because of the background of Hong Kong, many of them use the anti-extradition China as the background of the story. Combining the works of 6 authors into one book, comparisons are naturally made. Personally, I think Black Cat C's "Ghost Whisper" is the most exciting. It is a natural fit for the story of Hong Kong's declining villages with traditional mythology. I also like Morris's "The Clone Incident of the Dead at 10,000 Meters". Chen Haoji's performance was average this time. Like "Detective Ice Room", the cover of the Taiwan version and the Hong Kong version is different.
The second book "Chopsticks: Strange Talks and Strange Stories" is a work of 5 writers from Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The theme of this book is the story of "Chopsticks-sama". Begin with Japanese writers and write one by one. It was very difficult for me to read it. I thought it was 5 independent stories, but when I saw the third story, I felt that this was not the case. When I reached the fourth story, I found that the skills of these authors are very strong, because while doing the same with the previous stories Combined, we have to do things for the next story. After reading it, you will know the timing of the whole story, shouting wonderful! So Chen Haoji is the author of the ending, and the pressure is huge. If you want to read a book to reduce stress, it is recommended not to choose this book, it is really a lot of effort to read. But it's really unforgettable after watching it, including those I'm afraid bridges.
The third is Chen Haoji 's "Magic Flute: Fairy Tale Reasoning Incident Book" . This time, three fairy tales with European backgrounds are used as the blueprint, and the reasoning stories are adapted from the chapters - "Jack and the Beanstalk", "Bluebeard" and "Pied Piper". The whole book is interesting and the plot makes sense (that makes sense). After reading "Chopsticks", I feel more relaxed and feel a lot less heavy. This can be a smart master, and the coordination is just a swordsman, but an unobtrusive servant.
If you want to read mystery novels other than Japanese mystery novels, you can read these books.
