When I took my children to play board games at school, the first lesson of the semester, I asked the children a question:

What is the difference between board games and mobile games?

Some children answered: Because mobile games do not require minds .

It should be an adult's prejudice that mobile games don't use brains. This kid answered me because he guessed what I wanted to hear, not what he really thought.

In fact, mobile games, like board games or any game design that will bring fun, require the use of the mind.

This is because human beings love to use their brains, which is their main source of pleasure.

How can a brainless game be fun?

Mobile games can attract a lot of children's sleepless nights, just because this is when he can use his mind (probably more than in school).

Compared with the dead knowledge in books, the levels on mobile games require a lot of brain power, and you can know how much children want to use their brains from how much they love games.

The popularity of board games is also for the same reason, our minds long for [problem solving], [solving difficulties] such a place to play.

Honestly, there doesn't seem to be a stage like this in real life where the mind can play, which is why the game is so interesting.

With that said, the many fun brain games on your phone or tablet should be very beneficial to your child.

Logically, that's right.

If the various challenges we will face in life can only be solved with our minds and computers, then mobile games are actually very educational.

But the problems that the child will face now or in the future are not just between him and things, but also many problems between him and others.

The difference between board games and mobile games is that you can see the facial expressions, body movements, and tone of voice of the co-player, and many times, you need to identify the emotions and thoughts they are trying to hide from these.

Therefore, board games are much more difficult than mobile games. Mobile games do not use the brain, but they do not use the part of our mind that interprets other people's emotions and how to respond appropriately.

The process of how humans receive, process, and derive meaning from language is much more complicated than we imagine, and science has yet to fully unravel the mysteries.

The ability to listen can only be learned through constant practice. But technology products omit these [troubles] as much as possible, and children who grow up in the digital age will undoubtedly be smarter, more thoughtful, and more capable of accomplishing more things. But it is also possible that they are no longer able to listen, and no longer know how to build relationships of mutual understanding, acceptance, and trust with others. And these may be the only capabilities that computers cannot replace in future generations.
