Xiju?

Xiju is actually Juguang Township in Lianjiang County (Matsu), and Juguang Township was formerly known as White Dog Township; Juguang Township is composed of two small islands, the east side is called Dongju (East Dog), and the west side is called Dongju (East Dog) Xiju (West Dog); its geographical location is about 20 kilometers (11 nautical miles) south of Nangan. Afterwards, after a month of training in Nangan, 30 of our 100 people rode the Pearl of the East China Sea and came to Xiju , the front line of this front line.

When the 30 of us set foot on the unknown island

Because the Yourong Road is so steep that even the military card can't drive it directly (there are other roads that can be bypassed next to it)

On our first visit to the island, we walked straight from the harbour to the top of the mountain

When I think of the next two months, we have to live in an environment where 100 people in the whole company share 1 urinal + 3 stools, and I feel a burst of sadness╮(￣_￣)╭

Then there is the slope of the banyan road that is so sloping to doubt life..

So, don't think about walking on Yourong Road, otherwise Wenqing will become a smell of hydrogen (×_×)⌒☆

The days of island break

Well, although I think the camp is very dry, but after getting used to it, it is actually ordinary.

There are three villages in Xiju, namely Qingfan Village (the port), Xiqiu Village (the top of the mountain), and Tianwo Village, as shown in the map below

And I have 6 on the island (there is a return to Taiwan in the middle XD), so I originally planned very carefully where I was going

It turns out...this island...well...it's gone in one day (sigh)

In short, every time I go to the island, I start from the camp, and then step on every inch of land one by one.

First of all, of course, go to Xiqiu Village ಥ◡ಥ, known as Xijiu Ximending

Huh? It looks like a bunch of old houses? Where is Ximending? ?

Oh, because basically all the supplies on the island are here. The main reason is that the command center of Xiju is the closest to Xiqiu Village on the top of the mountain, and in the early days, the local people also relied on the money of Ji Abing to support their families. , so everything you want to buy is here XD

Kunqiu Beach

 The sunset that meets Kunqiu Beach wears a red veil, and the playfulness of going out to sea is softly reflected.

Follow the Kunqiu Trail all the way down from Xiqiu Village to Kunqiu Beach, about 20 minutes

We met local people walking there. There used to be two paintings there. I always thought that someone was drying oil paintings there...until a child stood up...

In this way, I just took a nap in the small gazebo by the sea, and it was time for the sun to set.

Caipuao Geopark

The geopark here refers to Caipuao; next to Caipuao is the Caipuao Reservoir

There is a camp here

In fact, in the early days, Caipuao was the only port on the island of Xiju. Because of the source of the nearby ocean currents, seaweed would be transported here every summer, and the locals would gather seaweed here, hence the name.

The reason why it is called the Geopark is because the geology here is different from other islands in Matsu; the other islands in Matsu are all composed of granite, but the geology here is mainly tuff and liuwen rock; The long-term erosion of the strong wind has turned into an extremely steep and magnificent scene; therefore, in addition to the above-mentioned tuff and rhyophyte, the geology here also has the geological characteristics of joints, so it has very considerable value in the academic sense of geology

Qingfan Village

 Looking for your shining eyes in the fluorescent lights that light up Qingfan Port 

Qingfan Village is located by the port and is currently the main ship docking station in Xiju.

There are only two post offices in the village, one is in Xiqiu Village and the other is in Qingfan Village.

In addition, the township office and library of Juguang Township are also here; when I was around the island and had nowhere to go, I just came to the library in Qingfan Village to study for a whole day.

And because the back of the shooting range is the sea, every time you want to shoot a target, there are fishing boats from the mainland waiting behind.. why? ?

This place is near Samurai Collar and Lok Dao O

This place used to be for the kind of... criminals' compulsory service? I don't know what it's called, wondering if someone could explain it to me

Then there was a vegetable steak that was transferred here, and was bullied by veterans because of the dishes, and the story of being beaten to death in the end happened here... that's about it
