In fact, I completely misunderstood the purpose of the writer class. I thought it was to teach you how to write. It turned out to be to teach you how to propose to the publishing house . For Yuanliu, it was an opportunity to meet new writers.

• First of all, in the morning, the director, Mr. Chen Xilin, from the standpoint of the publishing house, simply taught everyone to calculate the cost of a book.
• Then group analysis of the best-selling book's successful marketing strategies and factors?
• After having successful experience, analyze potential writers, think about how to package writers for publishers, and achieve marketing strategies for publishing books.
• In the afternoon, Mr. He Zewen led everyone as a writer to promote himself and the book he wanted to publish. There was a lot of time for discussion and contact with the people present.
• Do market analysis, marketing analysis for the book you come up with, and try to speak your mind to others.
• Take a group as a unit, analyze one of the group members' books, analyze the theme and think about related ideas, and make a directory for the book.

Analysis of bestsellers

We are a group of women in their 30s and 30s, analyzing a best-selling book: My Boss is the President <The Little Hero Behind the 8.17 Million Votes>

We use this book 's authorship characteristics , clever arrangement of publication dates , strong marketing resources , written design , topicality . to analyze the factors that sell well.

But to be honest, I haven't heard or read this book. I only have an impression of one of the five best-selling books analyzed by five groups. XD I can only say that I am really ignorant.

Analyze potential writers

Our group analyzed Lin Wei , the protagonist of "A Letter to Tedros"

The time factor is not as complete as the analysis of best-selling books. Our group of common goals want to emphasize: youth , self-learning , special experiences that are different from children of the same age , and inspirational process .

But it only took five minutes to look up information and exchange opinions. When the microphone was in my hand, I could only say what was special about what we found, and it seemed that I could not give a marketing-friendly opinion. I was a little distressed that my mind was blank at the time, and I couldn't talk about my thoughts like the other team members.

The theme of my book: On the way to career change

To be honest, I have absolutely no idea about publishing a book, but at the beginning of the morning, we asked us to write the theme of our book within a minute and post it on the whiteboard in front. Suddenly, I thought of my position on matters, that is, on the way to change careers, I scribbled down on post-it notes to hand in homework.

When I needed to analyze the market in the afternoon, my head went blank!!! How to find similar books for competitive analysis , book summaries , theme planning , etc., it burned my brain!!

｜Inner Shock｜

This process reminds me of one thing: I have always done things I want to do regardless of the consequences . When I was a child, it was a talent to act and make decisions by feeling and intuition, but as I get older, I can’t become my outstanding advantage. I have never thoroughly and pragmatically analyzed one thing. Of course, if you want to be a single writer, you really don’t need to think too much about it.

There are professional experts with more experience than me, authors who have published books, and contract writers. At first I reflected on whether I was qualified to handle such a subject. After analysis, I know that the audience is different, and there is still a chance to have my own piece of the sky. And think clearly that I just want to record the tools I have been looking for , whether it is to publish a book or simply write an article, as long as it can help those who were born in the vocational system or who only have one skill and are struggling to change jobs. Let the path I figure out be a stepping stone for others, my goal is that simple.

Create a catalog - help with ideas

Our group is to assist team member Yang Baa to think about her book. The theme of the book can be known from her FB fan group . After all, she is a contract writer. I don’t know if the content can be revealed, so I can only mention it here.

This part is very interesting, like casting a net, you can think about related ideas in a wild way, and finally classify the ideas, and write a theme for each category, which completes our content outline.

★My little friends have their own backgrounds

1. Pauline , a beautiful flight attendant from Nantou, Taichung, like me, is a contract writer. Although she rarely runs a fan club, she has more than 1,000 followers!! I heard that the book is expected to be released around April 2021.
2. The previously mentioned contract writer, the Chinese teacher Yang Baa , is very popular, with more than 9,000 likes.
3. There's also illustrator Mia , followed by more than a thousand people . The concept of drawing for children is great. She has to draw her own book that day, which is fundamentally her strength. She was named in the promotion of her own book to talk about her idea of publishing a book.
4. Xuebao , a beautiful reporter who is super social and has a good affinity and has many tentacles, has reached 13,000 ig followers . It's amazing!!
5. That's me!!! I'm Xinxin IG just opened, there are only four followers , woo woo woo. But compared to the years of management of my partners, I really came out of a novice village. I hope you all will join us.

When I started to look for my own career, I would find that there were many masters everywhere, and sometimes I would feel annoyed at why I dared to step out of my comfort zone to explore my own possibilities until I was 30 years old?! But think about the homework and experience of life in the past few years. Karma, at least the people in the working environment are tolerant of me, allowing me to have space to deal with the psychological hurdles. This year is just right, integrate your body and mind, and prepare to meet the world.

Also because of the many people I have come into contact with, I find that I have many deficiencies, such as:

• Visualize your thoughts : You always feel that you have the ability to analyze and make decisions easily, but you find you need to tell others about your analyzed thoughts and how to implement them? I really can't speak well! Writing helps me do exercises like this.
• The importance of finding a partner : network is a resource, the same truth . How to increase the network is also my goal for myself in 2021 . This is a big challenge for me. Originally, I was used to being alone, and I was too lazy to communicate ideas. Instead of talking to people, I should do it myself. I know these are things I have to learn to improve. So now I'm going to change my mind, I tell myself, before I find a partner, I have to be clear about my beliefs, and then communicate my beliefs and recruit partners .
• Proposal analysis ability : I have been exposed to a lot of things recently, and found that proposal power is important in any industry. It is not only to convey ideas, but also to find a job.
• Operating a self-brand : I used to think that operating an online image was a superficial act, and I didn't believe that an online image could truly recognize a person. But the cruel thing is that everyone will do a meat search when they meet new people. I can do things myself, how can I blame people for being superficial? So I changed my mindset, not to make people really know me, but to make people believe in me. It's just a way of expressing an attitude . So IG and writing have become the places I want to operate.
• Innovation : How to become a self-contained style, create new terms and new concepts, is the homework of every KOL now, and it depends on this to make a name for the history. This made me swear a lot of swear words in my heart. From childhood, we were taught to be gregarious and not to deviate from the track. When we grow up, the world wants us to innovate and become our own style. In the middle, we must re-establish self-confidence and the courage to be hated. . . .

I don't know if the period just came or it really burned a lot of brain cells that day? After returning home, I fell into a drowsiness and felt sleepy at work the next day. It took me two days to feel that I was alive again.

As for being a writer, this class taught me that there is still a long way to go. If a book needs 70,000-80,000 words and 5-6 chapters, then I have to hone myself to write an average article of 1500-2000 words. If I don’t want to be just a writer or knowledge porter , then I have to read more books, read a lot of related topics, combine my own central ideas and concepts, and innovate and refine a book. You have to accumulate your own readers before you publish your book, and figure out how to sell yourself so that the publisher thinks you can make money for them. It's all about big projects. It's really not easy for people who can keep publishing books!

★ The third class of writers is expected to start on March 14: those who have a book publishing plan can go and listen, and those who want to know writers and editors can also participate. Please consider your financial resources, because for my wallet, it's a bit of a stretch. I can only admire the original self who wanted to find a career direction, and was really serious at all costs.
