“If you want to be creative, you don’t try to get out of the box, you want to jump into the box.”

We all feel that in order to spark creativity, we have to think outside the box. But if you want to be a creator, you can't just jump out of the frame to create. The more freedom you give yourself, the less free you will be, and you will fall into the situation of being controlled by inspiration. When you set limits for yourself, you can truly unleash your creativity.

We all feel that in order to inspire creativity, we must create an uninhibited environment where we can naturally encounter inspiration. We all feel that we need to think outside the box to come up with better ideas, but most people spend most of their time trying to find inspiration or new ideas.

I saw a story the other day about how a creator who works 24/7 uses regularity to maintain high production, and he also creates many different kinds of handicraft works.

She said that rules allow us to maximize our creativity and set a framework for ourselves, so we can think in a different way and come up with better ideas.

It happens that the deliberately setting framework mentioned by this creator is also the method I have always used. I read a lot of words she shared that resonated very much.

In the past, when I was still writing novels, I didn’t set how much or how often to update each day. I only wrote when I wanted to, and I wouldn’t write a single word when I had no inspiration. So at that time, the output was extremely low. A novel was written for several years and could not be completed. Seeing that others could update it every day, I was very envious but powerless.

And I just started running a text account. For about two or three months, after I sent out the four or five articles that I had originally written, I didn’t finish any more complete articles. post.

It wasn’t until later that I decided to run my business well and stipulated that I should post three articles a week and write something every day, and then I realized that I could do it too. It turned out that I could write articles without relying on inspiration.

Although such a restriction, that is, the restriction of regular weekly postings, often becomes a kind of pressure, and occasionally becomes writing for the sake of writing, but being forced to write a complete article, it is also forced out. own potential.

You don’t need inspiration, you can draw materials from everywhere, and even the most boring little things can be written into an essay. Even if it is a bit boring to write sometimes, it is a good exercise. Practice how to find a topic to write when inspiration doesn’t come to you, develop it into a work, how to complete those three articles in a limited time, and how to persevere when you are tired.

If there is no such framework to frame the lazy self, I am afraid that I am still waiting for inspiration to knock on the door.

When I can’t think of what to write, how to think from different perspectives and find out the ideas that can be used, it is the framework that establishes my ability to continuously produce and come up with new ideas. Continuous progress.

With some limitations, we can have an endless stream of creativity. The source of creation is not to jump out of the frame, but to jump into the frame.

If you want to be a creator, you can’t just jump out of the frame to create. The more freedom you give yourself, the less free you will be, and you will fall into the situation of being controlled by inspiration.

When you set limits for yourself and have a clear rule and progress, you can really stimulate your creativity, maintain a certain amount of creativity, and you will not be unable to update the text because you have no ideas.

The creativity and productivity you want, all in a box called constraints.
