Countdown 2 | Anxiety to God

(edited)
For Saturday's big event, now everything is ready except for the east wind, which means we just have to wait until the day of the wedding.

Today I finally finished reading the book "The Unbearable Lightness of Life" by Milan Kundera. In his last chapter, he wrote about the last part of the life of Teresa's dog Karenin, which broke my heart and reminded me of our cat Shirley.

I think what the book says is correct. The love between animals and humans is completely different. It is a kind of pure love without any reverie or jealousy at all. I think we do treat these pets with pure love, and I believe they treat us the same way.

When I saw Thomas personally euthanizing Karenin, I thought to myself if I was asked to do it, I would have no choice. But Thomas in the book does it in a "I personally send my dog on the road" mood, and when I think about it, I think he is great.

Thomas wanted Death to come to Karenin in the form of someone he loved.
He thought it was his privilege, a privilege other than human beings.

After reading the book, there is a new vision and expectation for life, and this kind of thinking reverberates in my mind.

I think philosophy is indeed not an easy part to understand, and it is even more difficult for me. After reading the book, I will stop here for the time being, and I should stop thinking about my life.

The dentist was closed this week. Due to the typhoon, it rained heavily in the north today, sometimes heavy and sometimes light. I didn’t know how to use this time at home, so I simply went out on foot while the rain was light. Expeditions, on the one hand, for sports, and on the other hand, to buy supplies for this week's upcoming events.

On the way, I saw many shops that I hadn't noticed before, and found that it was so convenient around me, but I didn't know much about it. Today's people's life is really comfortable, and they can buy whatever they want within a few steps, whether it is food or supplies. We were born in a happy age, but have we made good use of these elements of happiness to create happiness? Maybe this is where the real thinking is needed.

There is a sentence in Jane 's book " Take a Walk with Me " that fits here:

" So if you get a road with a heart A, the soil where your dream is implanted is fertile and the sun is full, as long as you work hard, you can mostly reap plentiful fruits. Then you should give back more than anyone else, God has mercy on you, maybe He wants you to be a person who "turns distant stars into lights everywhere".

For Saturday's big event, now everything is ready and only the wind is left, that is, we just have to wait until the day of the wedding, and my heart starts to tense unconsciously. Because of my worries, I put these things on the prayer list of the group, and a sister in the group who I have a good relationship with told me, she said:

"I guessed that you would be anxious, but I think the focus of the day was on the newcomers, and no matter what happened, everyone would not take it to heart. There may be unexpected situations, but these situations will be talked about in the future. The content of this wedding is only a small episode, and it will only be laughed at when talking about it.

You just need to dress up beautifully and keep your spirit and physical strength. On that day, you only need to play your role and help newcomers to greet their elders and relatives more often. Your task is to appear beautiful, more beautiful, and super beautiful, and you must be full of energy. Then when everyone recalls this wedding, they will all mention "the man's mother looks so young and beautiful", I think this is perfect. . Put your anxieties in the hands of God. "

The encouragement this sister gave me was quite good, at least I was amused.

Maybe asking for perfection is also one of my paranoia, but who doesn't want a perfect wedding, not to mention this is the first time we have been the officiant, I think we all have a desire in our hearts to be able to do a wedding for ourselves and our guests. Satisfied wedding reception.

Tension is certain, but I hope that God’s protection can also lead us to a more hopeful day, and I hope that everything is in God’s hands.
