Why I am writing

I read Matty's feature update announcement today, and I know that starting yesterday, Matters allows authors to register ISCN for their work when they publish their work. I am very excited - to finally be able to write down the source data of my work on the immutable blockchain, and get a digital ID card to prove that this is the work created and owned by my Tao Lesi, how wonderful Woolen cloth! This is something I've written on Facebook for five years and here for almost two years, and I haven't thought about it.

Writing for the past seven years, why should I write? Obviously, unlike many authors, I can write novels, poems, and travel notes, and I can’t write problem-solving/consulting essays that most readers like, and I can’t meet the needs of mainstream readers, so why should I write? This question has a double meaning. For me, it's a self-planning crawl, to clarify the way forward. For the reader, it is also an opportunity to find out what I can find here.

To answer the question of why I write, the most important thing is to figure out who I am and what I want to achieve through writing. I am a visually impaired person since childhood. Elementary and junior high schools are completed in schools for the blind. From high school to college graduation, it is to receive integrated education with ordinary people. After graduating from college, I found a white-collar job in a large institution, and I have been doing it until now. At this point, some people may not be able to help but ask a question that I want to ask myself: a person like me who has had mediocre experience since childhood, has never changed a job, and has such a narrow contact surface, write What is the appealing theme? Ha ha! My mediocre and narrow contact surface is one of the main reasons why I have been urging myself to keep writing: I want to constantly break through my comfort zone, expand my contact surface, and broaden my horizons through writing. This is what I myself want to achieve through writing. To achieve the goal of continuously expanding contacts and broadening my horizons, I need actions and writing to record. But in this case, can't you just write the diary for yourself? No, I'm sure my writing is not just for myself, but to be published for people who might like it; for people who like me want to extend their reach and broaden their horizons; for those who have worked hard in this area , people who have accumulated a lot of experience and want to exchange views.

So what can readers find through my writing? Briefly, readers will find the following:

1. I am determined to continue to expand the contacts, the mental journey of broadening my horizons, and the struggles, setbacks and gains I have had in this journey;

2. Stories written through interviews with people from different backgrounds;

3. On-site observation and recording of participating in various activities;

4. A brief introduction to social science theoretical concepts; and

Fifth, self-study notes and works recommendation.

My writing fails to meet the entertainment or problem-solving needs of mainstream readers, but through my writing I hope to meet readers who also want to broaden their horizons. As an ordinary white-collar worker, I am well aware of the predicament of white-collar workers—every day life is repeated and repeated, like the constant copying of the same page. Even if you want to change, but the life circle is the same white-collar workers, everyone seems to be helpless. I hope to create an environment of shared learning through writing and loosen the constraints imposed by mainstream society on individuals.
