I once had an idea that there must be some people in the older generation who would support my statement, because some of them also left Macau down-to-earth when they were young, went to distant places, studied, went their own way, and ignored others. The vision, the obstruction of the parents - they succeeded.

They are very proud that they brought the martial arts they learned back to Macau and carried it forward. They can do it themselves. Why do young people object when they want to do the same thing?

The older generation often has a lot to say about what young people "do", mostly criticizing them, using that they were also young people as an "excuse", they will say: "We have also gone through this stage!", but now More than 50 years have passed and nothing should have changed.

Taking martial arts as an example, most of the famous martial arts families in Macau are big families composed of their own blood and related people around them. These people are all their own people and practice martial arts through relationships. But don't appreciate it. Their publicity is still relatively small. Although there are also some activities including the "Wulin Elite Club", the serious thing is that people outside are actually watching it as a performance-like a goldfish with only 9 seconds of memory and forget it in a blink of an eye, that's for inheritance. what sense?

I have mentioned to a lot of older generation that many of my friends lived in the martial arts industry while I was living abroad. They like to engage in online inheritance. They even sell T-shirts, put promotional videos on YouTube, and then advertise them. Putting it on Patreon, some people even have personal websites like me, including blogs, videos and photos taken after visiting famous martial arts masters in different countries, etc. They also have personal lives, including what to eat and where to play.

The problem is that whenever the Chinese or Asians themselves think of other ways of development, the older generation is always criticized, but when foreigners are doing the same thing, they are not welcome, very double standards, giving people Feeling is quite unprofessional, always say to carry forward, but do not trust the computer.

Communication with the elderly is understandable, and of course necessary. There must be a generation gap. The living environment is different, and the environment in which you grew up is different. You must tell them your thoughts carefully and carefully, or will they allow your behavior?

It's all about how to inherit without progress. It's time to change the values. Only by thinking about the future development can the tradition be carried forward!
