Nowadays, there are many brands of lo-mei that are made of duck pieces, such as Juewei, Jiujiuya, Liufu Duck, Zhou Hei Duck, etc. They are all sold with various parts of the duck. Although the taste is good, the price is very expensive, about 50 pounds for the duck neck. I saw that my father liked it very much, so I bought 2 pounds of raw duck neck and tried it myself.


Prepare ingredients: spicy hot pot pieces, duck neck, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, cooking wine, ginger, salt, sugar, monosodium glutamate.


1) Wash the duck neck, cut the whole root in half, put water in a pot, put in the washed duck neck, add ginger and cooking wine, blanch it and wash it.

2) Put it into the pot again, put in the spicy hot pot pieces, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, cooking wine, ginger, boil the water without covering the duck neck, turn on high heat, turn to medium heat and cook for half an hour.

3) If the water is not enough during the period, add water, add sugar and a little monosodium glutamate during the period, and add a little salt if the taste is weak.

4) Collect the juice until the soup is almost gone.


The duck neck that has been boiled for a long time is very delicious. If you leave it aside for one night, it will be even more delicious the next day! It tastes good, I recommend trying it.
