Hong Kong Local Tour|M+ Museum

Expecting to be very hard with two daughters, but I'm in favor of going to the M+ Museum, it's always a rewarding activity. . .

Hong Kong's M+ Museum, located in the West Kowloon Cultural District, has been in preparation for many years and has invested heavily in planning. Due to the epidemic, it finally opened in November last year. Fortunately, before the outbreak of Omicron, my husband proposed to take the two daughters to visit the museum. Expecting to be very hard with two daughters, but I'm all for it, it's a rewarding activity to go to the museum all the time.

Don't look at the simple design of the M+ Museum, but as soon as you enter the museum, you will find that the museum itself is an exhibition, look! Even the pillars in the museum display the works of masters, so the design is very unique!

M+ Museum currently has 6 major thematic exhibitions. My favorite is this exhibition about life in Hong Kong - "Hong Kong: Here and There". Through objects and photos/pictures, it shows various changes in Hong Kong's history and life culture in the past few decades. .

At the entrance of the "Hong Kong: Here and There" exhibition hall is a large photo of Anita Mui, looking at her graceful appearance, which is already super attractive. Anita Mui is definitely a representative of Hong Kong's trendy life culture and the music scene in the 1980s. It can be said that this photo was chosen very well!

Entering the exhibition hall, you can see the life objects of Hong Kong in the 1960s and 1970s. The bright poster on the wall caught my eye. It turned out to be a poster of the Parco department store in Hong Kong in 1982. The theme was "Spring Loves Me". the design of.

My favorite is this one, Anita Mui's "Flying on the Stage" album jacket in 1984, Anita Mui's eyes are sharp and her lips are sexy, very attractive! It looks very familiar, yes, the picture at the entrance of the exhibition hall uses it! This record should be worth a lot by now!

And the instant messaging system of the 1990s, when there were no cell phones, only call centres. Later, people invented mobile phones, and then developed to transmit text. Now, smartphones can send short videos at any time, group conversations and voice conversations, and text conversations will be mixed with a lot of emoji (emoji symbols).

The M+ museum is quite big, we just wandered through two exhibitions, enough to spend our whole afternoon. I hope you can visit the other four exhibitions during the next holiday. If you have the opportunity to visit Hong Kong, remember to make an appointment online.
