Under the torrent of the times, a record from individual experience. Hope the epidemic will pass soon and everyone is safe and healthy.

The coronavirus has truly changed our lives.

Before the epidemic, going home was just a matter of buying a ticket, and you were free to choose where and how to return, but during the epidemic, going home is not so easy.

Before moving back to my hometown in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, I have been living in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. Since the outbreak in Liwan District, Guangzhou in May and June last year, although I often see sporadic reports of confirmed cases in Guangzhou, it has little impact on my daily life. I haven't even done nucleic acid for more than half a year, which often gives me the illusion that the epidemic has passed for a long time.

In fact, the epidemic is still there. A friend who came to Guangzhou from Jiangxi reminded me to check the policy and see if I had to quarantine when I returned to my hometown in Jiangxi. At first, when I heard this reminder, I didn’t take it seriously. It was obvious that the two places were found to be low-risk in the State Council’s applet. , Why should I be quarantined? However, for the sake of insurance, I still asked my dad to help me ask. My dad quickly pushed the WeChat of the staff responsible for managing the returnees in the area to me.

The earliest I had a conversation with the staff was in mid-March. I asked what policy I wanted to go back to my hometown. The other party asked me which district of Guangzhou I was in. As soon as I heard it was Yuexiu District (there was a diagnosis at the time), they immediately advised me not to come back. After I moved back in, the staff told me that I would be quarantined for seven days.

At that time, when I heard that I was going to be quarantined, I felt that it was outrageous, but there was no other way. I still had to go back to my hometown, so I kept in touch with the staff. She asked me what information I wanted, and I told her, and I told her as soon as I bought the ticket. She, and reported to her three days in advance. I originally thought that it would be a relatively smooth journey, but there were some twists and turns in the process, so I recorded it.

March 31, Guangzhou

There are two community nucleic acid testing sites near my home. I thought about a friend who had done the test a few days ago, and also thought about going to the test in the morning. When I arrived at the scene, the volunteers reminded that residents who did not receive a text message to notify the nucleic acid test should go to the hospital at their own expense. Nucleic acid test, it seems that too many people came to test nucleic acid "free" before, so I quickly made an appointment to go to a nearby hospital for nucleic acid test in the afternoon. Compared with before, the cost of self-funded test has been greatly reduced.

In the afternoon, the hospital tested nucleic acid, and there were very few people. After more than two years of "baptism" of nucleic acid testing in the hospital, the process was very clear and fast, and the test was completed within ten minutes.

After 4 o'clock in the afternoon, I received a call from the CDC from my hometown to confirm whether I was going back by high-speed rail, and then reminded me that a driver would contact me when I arrived at the station. After seven o'clock in the evening, the staff in the area called me and asked me if I had reached the quarantine point. I was even more puzzled. She asked me if you were going back today, and I realized that she had misremembered the time I went back.

The staff mumbled a few words and hung up the phone, but I felt that I should not carry this oolong pot. Obviously, I gave her a screenshot of the ticket, and also sent a text to report the time to go back, so I put the previous A screenshot of the conversation about the return time was sent to the staff.

April 1st, Guangzhou - Ganzhou

There were very few people at Guangzhou East Railway Station, and the entry was very smooth. It was just that when entering the waiting room, a 48-hour nucleic acid test negative certificate or a itinerary card was required. Fortunately, the nucleic acid was done yesterday. However, I saw many workers with large bags and small bags being stopped outside the waiting room in a daze.

There were not many people on the train. When it was about to arrive at the station, a man next door was calling. Someone on the other end of the phone seemed to tell him to get off the train and go to quarantine. This was an unexpected situation for him. Immediately high, the country scolded constantly, vented for a while, immediately went to the flight attendant to make up the ticket, and decided to return to Guangzhou the same way.

When the high-speed rail arrives at the station, push the box and follow the crowd out of the station, prompting to fill in the Gantong code and present the itinerary card, one channel for passengers within the province, and a special exit area for passengers outside the province. On the same day, all passengers entering from outside the province need to be quarantined. The staff responsible for registration has a work manual. The manual has the quarantine policy for returning from different provinces and regions. For example, when I returned from Guangzhou, there was no confirmed area (Yuexiu District). ) is centralized isolation for three days and home health monitoring for four days, while areas with confirmed cases are centralized isolation for seven days and home health monitoring for seven days.

At the check-in point, many passengers protested against such a quarantine policy. Many people opened the State Council mini-program, etc., and told the staff why they were in low-risk areas, and why other cities in Jiangxi ( I had a friend who went back to other cities in Jiangxi from Guangzhou’s Yuexiu District. No need for centralized quarantine) and no quarantine. The staff at the registration point didn’t know how to respond. In these debates, many people directly chose to return.

I took the completed centralized quarantine confirmation form, walked along the designated route, tested the nucleic acid first, and then queued up to hand in the quarantine confirmation form. The staff who received the quarantine confirmation form would manually register according to the district and county. Name on the form, and then passengers go to the waiting area to find their own area and wait for the staff who will transfer to the centralized isolation point to pick them up.

I must say that the process was chaotic, and the chaos also made everyone at the scene not in a good mood, especially for those passengers who had to get off the bus and had to go to centralized isolation, not knowing where they would be sent , and the staff are also crazy busy, the information is all manual, and there is no online system to let all the relevant staff know the first time, so it is necessary to constantly call to confirm and schedule during the registration process.

In short, I arrived at the station at five o'clock, and I didn't get on the transfer car until after eight o'clock. There were a lot of oolongs during the process. For example, the staff said that the transfer car was coming and asked the volunteers to take us up. As a result, when we arrived at the location, the car was not at all. There was no shadow. We waited in the cold wind and rain for half an hour before being brought back indoors to continue to wait. After waiting for more than an hour, no one notified the car that it was coming. We still took the initiative to ask the staff. The person who came to pick me up in my area knew that the car was coming, but the person who came to pick me up said that there was only one person, but there were obviously more than one person waiting. The information of two people was not confirmed, and it took some time to confirm before the car finally started.

When we got to the first quarantine hotel, there were only two beds left. The two boys in the same transfer car got off first, and the other girl and I had to wait to be sent to another hotel. After a while, we were sent to Home Inn, and we entered the hotel through the isolation channel with our luggage. We were reminded by the staff in the glass room to add WeChat, take a thermometer, take a room card, and take water. After we asked, we gave it again. We have dinner.

In the passage filled with disinfectant, take the elevator upstairs, find your room, insert the room card, put down your luggage, change your shoes that have been wet in the rain, quickly report the location and situation to your family, sit down and eat the cold food Fan, this day is finally over, and my quarantine life has officially begun.

April 2, Ganzhou

I didn't sleep well last night. I had a nightmare in cold sweat. I vaguely heard the sound of knocking on the door. I grabbed my phone and looked at it. It was not even seven o'clock. It is to do nucleic acid, stab the nose, I thought it would be very uncomfortable to stab the nose, but if it is finished without preparation, it will be fine.

I woke up early and couldn't fall asleep, so I ate some snacks, lay in bed and swiped Weibo. At around 8:40, someone knocked on the door, opened it, there was a breakfast hanging on the door handle, took a picture and sent it to the family group. I slept until after twelve o'clock, and heard a knock on the door again. It was delivering lunch, taking pictures and posting to the family group. After eating, I lay in bed and checked Weibo. I originally turned on the computer and wanted to do something, but I was not motivated. So I gave up and tried to do some exercise. After less than ten minutes, I gave up. After six o’clock, there was another knock on the door. Dinner was delivered. I swiped Weibo again and started reading the novel "Hengdao Shizhisuke".

April 3 Ganzhou

I thought I would be testing nucleic acids today, so I set an alarm clock for 7 o'clock. After waking up, I swiped Weibo and started to wait. There was no movement until I heard a knock on the door at 8 o'clock, and it was breakfast. I knew that I didn't need it today. make nucleic acids.

After breakfast, I swipe Weibo. After twelve o'clock, the Chinese food was delivered, and I ate it while scanning Weibo. After lunch, I lay down on the bed and swiped Weibo again. After 4 o'clock, I got up and turned on keep, and found an exercise. Looking at the cars coming and going on the viaduct outside the window, I completed a follow-up exercise for more than 40 minutes. After sweating, I felt a little that I was not too wasteful, and that I had accomplished something. After six o'clock, dinner was delivered. While eating dinner, I finished watching the movie "American Girl", a Taiwanese movie. There is a short paragraph in the story that is set against SARS.

After eight, chatting with a friend I haven't seen in years and getting some "aha moments".

Lying on the bed and swiping Weibo for a while, I continued to watch "Hengdao Shizhisuke".

April 4 Ganzhou

No need to do nucleic acid today. Breakfast and Chinese food were delivered at about the same time as yesterday, and I was still the same. I finished exercising at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. After a short rest, I was just about to eat. The staff reminded me through WeChat that I could pack my luggage and go home. Went downstairs with luggage. Before leaving, the staff asked me to sign two documents, explaining the confirmation of release from isolation and the precautions after isolation and contact. I took the documents and left the hotel at around 8:00.

It turned out that there was a KTV downstairs in the quarantine hotel. There were two girls standing at the door chatting without wearing masks. When they saw me coming out of the hotel, there was no reaction. I pushed my luggage and walked towards home. The temperature was comfortable and the flowers were fragrant. People passing by me walked comfortably, some wearing masks, some not wearing masks.

I deliberately chose the road to go through the park. Many people went out for a walk after dinner. The square dancers stretched their waists happily. Next to them were mobile vendors selling snacks and clothes. People were shopping leisurely. While talking, no one cares about masks or something.

In this comparison, the short three-day quarantine life I just ended seemed like a dream. In that dream, it was disinfectant water, a thermometer, three meals delivered at regular intervals, a staff member in a protective suit whose face could not be seen clearly, and a viaduct outside the window. For those three days, I seemed to be living on an isolated island. Or in a floating bubble ball, although I am on the land of my hometown, I have never really returned to my hometown. This is a real experience, but when I think about it or experience it, it is so unreal.

April 5-April 6, Home

When I got home, I felt a lot better. I finally slept in my own bed. The range of activities was not limited to the room. After all, it was much more spacious than the hotel. Dad was also at home, and there were still people to chat with.

These two days, Dad cooks three meals a day. I packed up the things I sent back from Guangzhou, and then I finally felt like I was home, even though I was still adjusting and adapting to my schedule, habits, and so on.

April 7th home

Today is the last day of home health monitoring. After today, I can go outside. Outside not only refers to the outside of home, but also refers to my hometown. After I left my hometown since college, every time I come back is very short. This time, I will stay for a long time for a few months. Everything about my hometown will come to me. It's all new and unfamiliar. I hope I can adapt well and not waste the next few months.
