This time the trail is not for sweating for sports, but for making wishes for children.

Mountaineering intersection: The hiking trail is 2.4 kilometers one way.
Trail Type: Suburban Mountain Trail.
Road conditions: sleepers, gravel trails, stone steps Walking time: about one and a half hours back and forth (including photo breaks)
Altitude: 27~97 meters.
Difficulty: low.

The Cape of Good Hope, which used to be called "Bantianliao", is located on a platform with a wide field of view to the south of Houlongxi and Xihuxi in Miaoli. It was a military base in the early days. After the withdrawal of the coastal defense forces, many wind turbines were built here. The wind farm with the largest capacity, later the government set up observation decks, trails and parking lots and other facilities near the old bunker, which has become a popular tourist attraction in recent years.
Bantianliao is located on the commanding heights of the coastal hills, like the Linkou platform, with gravels scattered in the middle. It was an alluvial fan by the sea in the early days, formed by the uplift of the orogenic movement, and has a wide field of vision, overlooking the mountains and seas.

It was cloudy and cloudy that day. We only went down from the old bunker to the railway. Because the sky began to rain, we abandoned the other end of the trail. So we are not sure if we can connect to the old tunnel? The mileage and distance described above are completely taken from the hiking notes.

We passed by this time, the old bunker in the front right of the photo, and then down to the railway, about 1.2 kilometers from the back and forth.

At this point, the sky started to collect rain, and it was estimated that there was a heavy rain, so we went all the way up and went straight to the parking lot.

But the cute insects on the road still attract me.

This is the starting point at the other end, only we gave up this part of the trail to avoid the rain and drove directly to the old train tunnel.

I speculate that maybe at the end of the other end mentioned above, you can go through this old train tunnel.

However, if you go by car, there are only ten parking spaces in the old train tunnel parking lot, and the number is limited. When I go next time, I will see if the Cape of Good Hope Trail can connect to this tunnel? As I guessed earlier.

There are three tunnels

Why is this tunnel specially introduced?

Because, it is called Rainbow Tunnel, how to shoot? How beautiful.

▼The following is taken by mobile phone, smart metering and focusing, very good shooting.

For my monocular, because I don't have a tripod and I'm afraid of getting wet, I can only shoot by leaning on the railing next to it.

▼The following is the photo I took with a single eye, which caused a lot of difference in the mobile phone, out of focus and blurry, but trying to stabilize the camera body, matching the shutter and aperture, it is a lot of manual fun.

In order to increase the stability and increase the shutter, so the dimness is much, so I had to slow down the shutter and increase the aperture. There is no tripod, only more shaking, hehe~ Lean the camera on the railing next to it....

There are many scenic spots near the half-day-liu. Due to the time and weather, the focus of this trip is to bring children to make a wish on the Magic Turtle Day . Therefore, Baishatun Ma and the aunt of Qinghai Palace are the focus of this trip.
