Post-movie impression: "Kokoro no Tani" If you listen to it
"The Valley of the Heart", also known as "Dream Street Girl" and "Listening to the Side", was directed by the animation director Kondo Yoshifumi of Studio Ghibli in 1995 and written by Hayao Miyazaki, adapted from the cartoonist Hiiragi Kwai in 1989 Created by the girl of the same name.
"Valley of the Heart" opens with the American ballad "Take Me Home Country Roads" released in 1971, and connects the entire plot. Frankly speaking, this classic ballad adds a lot to the whole work!
As always, Miyazaki's characters are quite delicate, especially the emotional changes inside. The heroine's library card complex also evokes my campus memory. Being able to read the same book with the person I like is also a kind of communication. The youthful and pure love on the campus, the confusion about the future direction in youth, and the interaction between family affection, present the whole work in a realistic and warm way.
At the very beginning of "The Valley of the Heart", the heroine Awen (Shizuku Tsukishima) once confessed to the fat stray cat (Ayuki): "You are like me! You are not cute at all! Why do people What about the change? I used to be very good and gentle! Even if I read a book now, I am not as energetic as before, there will always be a voice in my heart, things are not that simple, right?" This passage is also very resonant; it seems that the sense of self-worth, the sense of powerlessness to life, seems to have no age difference.
Awen (Shizuku Tsukishima) likes to read books. When she wrote the lyrics for "Take Me Home, Country Roads", her friends also said that she is a talented poet, but she lacked self-confidence and just explained: "I still don't quite understand what a hometown is. I'm actually just writing down my feelings."
After knowing what the excellent Seiji (Tazawa Seiji) thinks of him, Awen (Tsukishima Shizuku), regardless of his status as a candidate, also began to write without sleep or sleep, as if he wanted to prove himself by completing the work. Later, she hurriedly handed over the original manuscript of "The Valley of the Heart (Er を す ま せ ば)". After Seiji's grandfather read it, no one criticized her, but she cried like she failed the exam. She eventually discovered that enthusiasm alone was not enough.
Looking at Awen, who is trying so hard to catch up with Seiji (Amosawa Seiji) deep in his heart, afraid that he is not good enough to live in the eyes of Seiji (Amosawa Seiji), I feel both pity and cuteness. It's actually very touching to look like you don't turn back for the people and things you like.
It is said that there will be a live-action movie in "Valley of the Heart", and the story timeline will be based on the student period of the "animated version", plus the life of the "original comic version" ten years later as the plot stage, look forward to it!
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
