Right-handers may not know, but the life of a left-hander is more difficult than you think...

According to statistics, only 10% of people in the world are left-handed, making left-handers a relatively small minority in society. There are many genes involved in right-handedness, and scientists have not yet found the decisive factor.

Most people may not be aware that the life of left-handers will not make us more noble and intelligent, but it will add a lot of troubles. Let me list the problems that I have encountered.

■ Always bump into others while eating

When eating at a large table, because most people are right-handed, they will not "fight" with others when they pick up chopsticks, but when left-handed people join, it is easy to have a slight collision. Every time I face this kind of thing, I always make the declaration of "I want to sit on the left" first, or take the initiative to walk away when colliding with others, after all, "the minority obeys the majority".
But I have thought about it, if there is a table where all left-handed people hold chopsticks with their left hands, the scene should be quite interesting.

■ Not good for stationery

Did you know that the scissors on the market are actually designed for right-handed people? If you use the left hand to hold the scissors, the embarrassing scene of "cutting constantly" often occurs, so the "left-handed scissors" must be purchased separately.
In addition, some ball pens write too much with the left hand, and the water is often cut off. Needless to say, the pen will only leave traces of the nib on the paper.

■ Traditional Chinese characters are not friendly

I always thought that traditional Chinese characters were originally designed for right-handers. Writing with your left hand "one stroke and one stroke" in Greater Chinese culture is simply not good. My own subjective feeling is that it takes a lot of effort to write with my left hand.
"Writing calligraphy" is also a luxury for left-handed people. I still remember the calligraphy class when I was a child. When the teacher saw that I was left-handed, he immediately understood why my calligraphy was so ugly, and left with a sigh!

■ Inconvenience of imparting experience

Growing up, when someone wanted to teach me how to play ball, write calligraphy, use tools, etc. I needed to use my hands, I would always hear "Oh, you're left-handed..." and then I was rejected. It's not that they don't want to teach, it's that they don't know how to demonstrate with left-handed people. Kind-hearted people will try to explain slowly, while some people just let me fend for themselves. And since I have been left-handed for so long, I am naturally used to slowly groping with my left hand, or simply learning with my right hand.

I'm left-handed and I'm proud

I have known that I am left-handed since I was conscious. When I was a child, I felt that it was unfortunate to be left-handed, and I even thought that left-handed people were a disadvantaged group. I often regretted how I used my left hand as my dominant hand. I was born, and slowly I found many poor people with the same disease as me.
Now, though, I don't feel sorry for myself for being left-handed. Instead, I feel proud. Because of being left-handed, I found in myself different characteristics from others; because of being left-handed, I began to learn to hold scissors and write with my right hand; Being 10% left-handed is a lucky thing because my weaknesses have become my characteristics.

Some people think that left-handers are outstanding. Could it be that they have the ability to excel because of the inconvenience of living conditions?
