Let me reorganize my life during the period of time I stopped in the past, while thinking about how to position and experience the meaning of "writing" to myself.

Gradually clarifying my thoughts, what I want to write is more important than a single-sided self-narrative, is to "create" a new connection possibility, so that interested people can get information from the content written, and take action.

"Create, absorb, act." Under such a formula, I think that action is relatively important, and it also causes me to go back and think repeatedly. Every time I write an article, which stage does it fall into that creates the What, how will the reader absorb it, and whether it can evoke the motive for action, and ultimately provide guidance for action.

Thinking about the experience of writing in the past sixteen years , from the first time you type on the keyboard, to the process of continuous output and shutdown, it seems like writing is a part of life.

The memory of the brain is very short, but the experience of feeling is deeply imprinted on the body. I have forgotten the environment and circumstances in which I typed those words, but every time I think of writing, my body always feels a sense of pleasure, as if a wave of blood is boiling in my body. The output after the input is so smooth.

I like this feeling.

It's just that now I want to change the way to add more possibilities to the goal of writing. Compared with simply publishing on a blog, e-newsletter is the most suitable and long-lasting way I have found.

Email (Email) was born in 1982. For 40 years, no matter from Web 1.0, Web 2.0 to the current Web 3.0, they have never left the world of the Internet. Everyone has an email. , and it has become the most important portal on the Internet.

The development of social media has not pushed e-mail into the stage of history. On the contrary, when the algorithm continues to be criticized, e-newsletter has regained the attention of content creators with a new attitude. Substack, Revue being acquired by Twitter , or even Medium opening up newsletter subscriptions have all made me see this trend.

And such a trend has not yet fully entered the system of Chinese creators. Compared with foreigners, there are indeed very few Chinese creators who are running e-newspapers, but there are enough benefits. For example, the pioneer "Full Subscription System" has been operating the subscription system for the third year, "The Road to Life Hacking" is also preparing to celebrate the anniversary of the paid subscription version, and many new content creators continue to join the field of e-newsletters.

I am convinced that in addition to the benefits of writing, the e-newsletter is a more valuable and worthy piece of work in the collection of lists, a group of like-minded friends, without the influence of social media and third parties.

Compared with stock investment, which requires chasing technical indicators and individual stock analysis every day, the training of fund investment is not only the accumulation of capital gains, but also the cultivation of different perspectives.

However, the convenience of stock investment and the low tax rate for a long time have caused the fund to encounter many challenges in the promotion of Taiwan. From the second half of last year to this year, there has also been a rotation of fund companies, such as Aberdeen Standard’s domestic and foreign funds transferred to Manulife Investment Trust 3Q to leave Taiwan , the general manager of Fortis, Janus to withdraw from Taiwan and transfer the general agent to Nomura Investment Trust . Unfortunately, Taiwan's investment ecology is quite challenging for fund companies to operate. On the one hand, banks dominate the key channels, and the rest of the pie, investment insurance policies, and full-commission account insurance policies, have also taken most of it. If you really want to go back to third-party platforms or invest in direct sales, the share is indeed very small.

However, from the perspective of cost, direct sales and third-party platforms are the cheapest for customers. Banks need handling fees, and insurance has been packaged many times, and the cost rate has become quite considerable.

In view of this, I have repositioned the second most important point in my after-get off work wealth creation life, "investment and financial management". I originally wanted to talk about investment observation only, maybe I should have some plan to lead action, then start from fund investment. Get started.
