The little daughter not only didn't call me "Mom", she even called me "Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad...". Does she think of me as "Dad"?

This is a story about the youngest daughter's recent babble, which has been delayed until now, because she is a little jealous.

01

After the child quacks to the ground, the parents' "little battle" is whether to call father or mother first. The eldest daughter calls her mother first, and I win a game first (hehe, snickering...

As for the youngest daughter, at first she babbled, but it turned out to be called "Father". Later, I found out that she could be called "Dad" for anything or anything. When she liked it, she would say "Dad", and when she was in a good mood, she would also say "Dad". . . She said it so casually, eh. . . It was just an unconscious pronunciation, I consoled myself. . .

02

However, on October 21st, the youngest daughter began to call her father: "Um-Dad".
Yes, she had to close her mouth and "um" for a while before saying the word "Dad", like a preparatory position before the 100-meter start.
Her "Dad" sounded a little sour. . . She would call her "Dad," maybe because I often heard my sister and I say the word "Dad", so I consoled myself. . .

In fact, compared to the years when my eldest daughter was born, my husband now gives more time to take care of the younger daughter. For example, I will take my eldest daughter to learn the piano before noon on Sunday, and make porridge before going out. At noon, you can feed your little daughter to eat porridge. He sometimes fed her milk powder and successfully coaxed his little daughter to sleep. Sometimes, the husband will take the young daughter to play at the indoor playground of the housing estate clubhouse. Last month, a new children's slide was added, and the youngest daughter likes it very much. Playing for a 45-minute session in the field can help the little daughter discharge quickly. After she goes home to drink milk or eat porridge, she will take a nap to recharge.

03

The morning after the youngest daughter called "Dad", when the elder sister changed her school uniform to go to school, she taught her to say "sister". The younger daughter tried her best to "um--" for a while, and then uttered the word "sister". My sister was so happy, she excitedly said to me, "Mom, mom, my sister knows how to call me sister!" Then she hugged her sister hard, kissed her cheek vigorously, and said, "You are so cute, sister. (Cantonese, it means great).”

When my sister was talking, I was actually beside me. I was very happy when I heard the sound of "sister". This shows that the little girl is growing and learning, and her cognition and speech skills are also improving day by day. However, I am also a little sad. My sister has called me "Father", "Dad" and "Sister", but she has never called me "Mom". Do I have a place in my sister's heart? Thinking about it, I can't help but sigh, "Eh..."

After the elder sister changed into her school uniform, she wanted to hear her call "Sister" one more time, so she grabbed her sister's hand, faced her face, opened her mouth and said slowly, "Sister...Sister...". Maybe the elder sister taught too much, and the younger sister didn't appreciate it. She pushed her sister's hand away, turned her head and called "Dad", and then went to play with the Jijie she liked.

Although the younger sister just called "Sister", the elder sister was still very happy. Not only did she tell her father, grandma, and grandma, but she also shared the good news with her friendly classmates and their mothers.

After a week, under the guidance of my sister and I, the youngest daughter finally said, "Mmm-mum". Want to hear more? ! There was no way, she ran away again, this time to the living room to play with toys.

In the next few days, the little daughter not only did not call "Mom", but even called me "Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad...". Does she think of me as "Dad"? But when we tell her to go to Daddy to eat or put on a coat, she knows how to go to Daddy again. . . To correct my little daughter, I would say to her from time to time, "Mom, I'm mom." And point to myself.

Last night at dinner time, my little daughter called me "Mom" on the other side of the table and came over to me for a hug. At that moment, I was so relieved that the teaching of the past few weeks was not in vain, and I finally recognized my mother.

Now, although the youngest daughter can only speak these few words, she can still understand our daily speech. For example, after we give her bread or fruit, we tell her to sit on a chair or a sofa to eat, she will take the bread or fruit in one hand, walk to sit low, and eat her food slowly, as if enjoying it .

In addition, when we are going out, we will give her a task when changing clothes: ask her to take her socks and shoes to avoid her making trouble, and learn to take care of herself by the way (learning to take care of herself since she was a child, shaking her head...) After she listened, she Will run away from the shoe rack, take out her shoes or/and socks, put them on the floor, point at them, and say "um" to us, as if asking us to help her put on the shoes. Sometimes we didn't help her put on the shoes right away, she would sit on the ground with the shoes next to her feet, so cute!

Seeing that my little daughter is growing every day and her cognitive ability is also improving bit by bit, I am once again amazed at the wonder of life!
