I've been busy lately, writing a synopsis and outline for "Magic Sound". It didn't take up too much time originally. If it was a draft, it would only take tens of minutes. However, it is not so simple! Multiply the above times by 20 to 50, and you're almost done. Since "Magic Sound" has already been published in this year, it had to be heavily trimmed many times before it was condensed into the final published version, so now to make up a sufficiently accurate outline, it is like taking the 8th season of " The Vampire Diaries " ” compressed into a 2-hour theatrical version, and then cut a 2-minute trailer from the theatrical version. Feel that maddening rhythm? Of course, it's definitely only Chuan who is driving Chuan crazy. Who would want to stuff all the stuff from season 8 into a 2-minute trailer? Everyone will say that it is necessary to choose carefully...that...it's not the point, okay!

The above mad words are regarded as Chuan's self-talk. But it is also the starting point of this article. Because I thought of the similarity between novels and film and television works, they are both similar but very different, and the relationship is unusually close, so I also wanted to try and simplify the content and concept of a set of novels from another angle. (Chicken essence?! (mistaken)) What I thought of was the description of atmosphere and feeling. Writing a novel is actually very similar to filming and directing. Screenwriters and directors tell stories through shots, while novel creation uses words, collocations, words, sentences, and paragraphs to make "shots". Everyone wants to restore the picture in their minds as much as possible.

The creation of novels with text as the medium is actually no different from film and television works. The creation of atmosphere and feeling should not be used sometimes. Rather, it should be drawn from a different point of view. The so-called description, which is used indiscriminately by Sichuan, means that the ordinary description is written in the way of turning words into pictures as much as possible.

In the content of a novel, there are a lot of points that need to be described, the overall feeling and atmosphere of the plot (the scene), the feelings of the characters themselves, the atmosphere deliberately created by the characters, the description of the actions, etc., all need to do this. . Many writers like to write about the moment when the hero and heroine met with something like "She saw him and felt moved." In fact, maybe it can be written as an old-fashioned "He looks back, her heart is like a deer." Or "Her heart beats faster because she sees him!" Or even "Just look at him, her My face turned red!" There are 10,000 descriptions, and they may be more expressive than the "feeling of the heart". For another example, I want to say that the atmosphere is gloomy. If you write with a person as the main body, it can probably be written as "A person is walking on a dark road." However, if you change it and focus on that person's vision, it can become "Darkness has been extending ahead, seemingly endless."

Or, want to say an action. Usually, it may be described as "a bird is flying happily". However, it can also be written in a slightly more lively way as "the birds are dancing in the air, and their wings are rhythmically clapping".

To put it simply, the sentence can actually be simplified, as long as the angle of the description is slightly changed, the picture becomes very different. In this regard, in fact, Chuan is also exploring and improving, so I will share it.
