My chat history with Denken in Matt City Pantry

Today at noon, I participated in the first Matt City Tea Room. Thank you @英昕@免费elves | Dobby also heard some new sounds @Red @陈海亚. In one and a half hours, I typed some words and also made a speech. . The chat record between me and @ObserverDenken is here, and some text has been revised.

Black cat represents my heart

My speech mainly focuses on this revision. I have been at Matters for almost three years and have gone through many revisions. What I’m talking about today is not about the technical issues such as the format, framework, sequence, and layout of this revision. What I’m talking about is the problems with the system of Matt City itself.

To put it simply: From the perspective of the revision, I feel that the main problem in Matt City is that the person responsible for the technical revision has never communicated directly with the citizens of Matt, and the person responsible for facing the citizens has no understanding of the revision. Without actual power, no matter how much you listen, you can only relay it. I don’t know whether those with power will listen or not.

If matters is compared to a country, it is an abnormal country. Those in power do not take responsibility, and those who take responsibility have no power. The rights and responsibilities should be integrated into one.

Mat City now has considerable freedom. People can write whatever they want. This is an advantage. However, judging from the repeated revisions, the democratic system still needs to be improved. Otherwise, no matter how many meetings we hold and how many opinions we listen to, we will not be able to solve this institutional problem.

I’m not trying to blame anyone, I’m just looking at reality. Judging from the results of this revision, the difference between Matt City in the eyes of those who have the power to revise and Matt City in my eyes may be even greater than the blue-green divide.

My thoughts may not be correct, but I will say it bluntly~Matt City is a place with love. I have great feelings for Matter City. Because there is love, I hope Matters will get better and better. .

Robert: Come here for a visit

Denken: I’m outside and it’s inconvenient to turn on the mic. I still want to ask Zeck to come out and face the issue of product functionality XD

Robert: I still want to ask Zeck to come out and face product function issues ~ Agreed

Denken: When the number of messages reaches too many, it will be good to make multiple unified notifications in the background. But essentially, we still have to ask: Does Matt City need to focus on social functions?

Denken: Fanggezi is very focused on creating valuable issues and is author-oriented but less community-oriented (Brother Hong is also very popular in Fanggezi~~

Robert: I’ll leave a message without reading it. We need to eliminate zero replies.

Denken: Content farming is very difficult to solve and almost impossible to stop. There is only legal means, but it is usually outside the country and it is difficult to succeed.

Denken: I think there’s no need to redo something that City already has.

Robert: I would like to know the person responsible for the revision~Does he use matters?

Denken: Unless Matt City wants to become a behemoth, not an alliance. Robert asked the point XDD

There is a saying in our software development community that eating your own dog food https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eating_your_own_dog_food

Denken: Of course you can form strategic alliances to do web3. If you don’t do alliances, wouldn’t you be repeating the mistakes of web2?

I originally wanted to leave a comment on that Douban article XD

Robert: What Matt City needs is not to read this or learn that. It only needs to ask the senior Matt people in charge of the revision to log in to Matters every day, post an article, reply once, and give a reward once. Then you will know that this revision is effective. How~so outrageous! ! !

Denken: Robert compiled these words and published an article and immediately made money.

Robert: Haha, I completely understand what denken means. There is no point in learning this and copying that. Matters always have to go their own way.

Denken: Most of the things that cause violence are "unplugging existing functions" XD Robert understands very well

Other people who make products are also using it, but the few accounts on the list may... at most post one article per quarter?

Posting as a blog is neither social nor creative.

Denken: I want to die laughing

Robert: Of course, this revision also has advantages, that is, the font size is enlarged, which is very good and in line with the rapid aging of people around the world.

"Is the leader in charge of technology old? He has changed very well."

Denken: Let me tell you, even the font size of Threads is being changed to a larger size.

Denken: Maybe Yingxin’s eyes are too good and she is too young (??

At this time, someone said: It’s true that the characters have become bigger XD

Denken: But realistically, I know it’s very difficult. Most large organizations don’t operate this way.

Robert: To be honest, I think the thinking behind the revision of Matters’ technology was: Look, let’s change it like this to control stupid asses like Matters.

Denken: Only some startups can do this (eat their own dog food (although Matters should still be a startup...

😂😂😂 I want to die laughing

Robert: Those who revise the version should use matters, and those who actually use matters should be able to take charge of the revision. It is like a responsible person who accepts questioning, not someone who cannot take responsibility.

Denken: "The so-called product goes to Congress for questioning!" (Design dialogue) "Activate Congressional investigation powers!"

Denken: So zeck is the chief executive, and there is also a president above him.

Robert: Totally agree

Denken: Invite the president into Congress to answer questions

Robert: Simultaneous webcast~

Denken: (But to be honest, I have communicated on Discord before, but it’s useless if I can’t follow up.

Robert: Yes, yes, I want to post these on matters and record them as evidence to others. I won’t post them. I will only post Denken and mine.

Denken: I have no problem posting anything!

Robert: Hahaha

Denken: Congress is open! No discussion! There is no democracy! (eh

Robert: Hahahaha~

above.
