The designer's son was born, and I participated in the whole process from opening a finger, breaking the amniotic fluid, to the official birth of my son. At the same time, the work has been very tight recently, which is the highest peak since I joined the company. All intertwined, and we have set a milestone mark for our lives and our hard-earned small team.

I have been working from home for a month. In addition to the great change in my work style, my most important designer partner, my son, was born on 6/22. I participated in the whole process from opening a finger, breaking the amniotic fluid, to the official birth of my son. Recently, my work has been very tense at the same time, which is the highest peak since I joined the company. The designer brought his wife in and out of the hospital, and left messages to me at every link. We closely synchronized each other's production and work conditions, and revised the filing of the handover plan: What if my son was born tomorrow? What if I'm born the day after tomorrow? What to do if you were born in the morning? What if I was born at night? It's like a countdown.

The designer shared with me a video of his son's birth, and I watched it three times. This is the little child who I signed a fake order every month and asked the designer to go to the hospital for obstetric inspection. Is that little guy in the ultrasound photo what he looked like in the end? I also helped him think of names and find gifts. Before giving birth, I accompanied the novice dad to be poor and nervous. I was nervous there, just for the little son who waved his hands and feet in this film.

Due to the epidemic, the hospital can only accompany the delivery by one person, and the designer is stuck in the hospital, which is a dilemma. I was stuck in the boss group, and I was in a hurry. I said to the designer, "You let me change it first, and I'll confirm everything. When your wife is finished, I'll sort out all the finalized content, and we'll do it again before printing."

When the designer was overwhelmed in the hospital, I helped the designer follow up the requirements, specifications, quantity, content of all the productions, and countless repeated revisions. I helped him figure out all the risks and priorities that we would encounter due to the different time of birth of our son and changes in the company's progress. I think the risk is too great, so help him discuss the contingency plan with the supervisor; observe the boss's mood, if he needs to communicate with the boss himself to appease, just ask him to call the boss to let the boss feel at ease and arrange follow-up in advance, and avoid inappropriate explanations , the designer is far away and has no idea what the group of people in the company are doing. As a result, no one told him, but in the end, he was blamed for not coming out.

There are also some more errands, such as he took time to run home from the hospital to write a manuscript. When he got home, he told me nervously: "I'm home!" I almost cried, "Then, come and help me. ~~" Because I want to get the AI files of everything before he goes back to the hospital. As a result, the AI at home couldn't be turned on for some reason, so he asked me to help him check whether the company's computer was abnormal. In the evening, he rushed to the company again, and he asked me, "The company shouldn't be empty so early, right?" I said to him, "It doesn't matter if you come, I'm in the company, and I'll wait until you come."

When he finally got rid of all the difficulties and went to the company to do the manuscript, he asked me embarrassedly, "Do you have anything else to do?" A, then B, then C, then the next one. After that, I will be responsible for talking to the boss and reviewing the draft, and he will seize the time to continue processing.

When we were going home, he told the boss that he hadn't slept for three days. I knew he was really exhausted because he asked me three times back and forth for one of the files.

In fact, I have been very careful in communication these days. I will try my best to let the designer mention how he wants to deal with the current situation. I tell him not to worry, and I will tell me directly if I need to cooperate, instead of helping him directly. deal with. I don't want the designer to think that I rob him of his job, and I also hope that the company can use the things made by the real design profession to maintain a relatively healthy cycle. I work with designers, both doing what they are good at, making each other's work better and better.

After this week, I'm sure that the designer will never kill me again.
