【Literary Wine Cellar】Week 1 - Spanish Cava vs. Blue Love

Challenge wine: Spanish Cava Spanish Cava sparkling wine
Wine of choice: Le Glamour d'Or, Cava Brut Reserva
Smell: Lemon balm, citrus, and a hint of freshly mowed grass.
Mouthfeel: not sweet (dry), with a honey-like taste, with a slightly sour finish and refreshing.

Entering November, the beginning of winter has passed, and the weather is still hot during the day. The challenge of the first week of the wine marathon is ice-cold sparkling wine, which is also very suitable for the warm winter in Taiwan, but the Canadian challenger has already placed Cava directly outside the house in the snow Chilled inside. Sparkling wine should be thoroughly iced, preferably in the refrigerator for three or four days to have a crisp taste.

There are many places where sparkling wine is produced. The sparkling wine produced in the Champagne region of France can be called Champagne (champagne) , and the sparkling wine in Italy is called Prosecco (Prosecco) . Wine is Cava . Champagne is usually more expensive, and Cava can also be found in a lot of cheap wines of good quality, so some people say that Cava is the Spanish version of champagne.

In comparison, I really like the taste of Cava. It is also a non-sweet wine. Although the hidden honey flavor appears for a short time, it is very surprising. Although the aroma is light, there are grassy aromas that have just been cut, and light green. The wine colors complement each other and are pleasing to the eye.

If champagne has a mature and mature attitude, Cava should be a teenager!

Like a teenage Cava.

Manga writer Ichikawa Ichikawa has a manga titled "Blue Love" that I read when I first entered BL. I have always liked the serialization, and recently published the third and fourth volumes of the Chinese single volume.

Most of the stories in the first two volumes unfolded on high school campuses. When I first met, I felt coy and unnatural, I couldn’t understand the emotions of myself and the other party, and I was very concerned. It slowly unfolds in a frame-by-frame picture. Although such a meticulously copied plot makes readers anxious (when will we go further? Silly child...), it seems to pull back the time and space back to the long-term youth era, and everything slowly, slowly fermenting emotions, slowly aroused Fingers, a gentle kiss, all so carefully and completely entrusted. The procrastinating time crossed each other's hearts, vacuum-packing love, and only fit two teenagers.

On a winter afternoon that is as hot as summer, reading a warm but green love, sipping a Cava with sparkling small bubbles and a slightly grassy fragrance, it is so in tune.

"Blue Mood" is not over yet. The two graduated from high school and entered college. They moved to another place and started living together. What will happen later? Kind of want to stop at this most beautiful season until I finish this bottle of Cava.

Summer teal/green taste of love.
