This week's The Coming of the Third Reich is what interests me. A few years ago, "Mein Kampf" was lifted, and a publishing house in Singapore published a full translation, and I even bought a collection. I always feel that the world is going back to the old way, but maybe it's just because I read too many inexplicable news.

This week just happened to meet Children's Day, so the book recommended by the system is "Every Child Needs to Be Seen". There is a sentence in the book that makes sense: the secret of parenting is not what to do, but what role to play in the child's heart. A while ago, I read an essay written by my daughter, which was written by me. I love so much. First of all, because I found that this essay written by my daughter was not an eight-part essay for the exam, but was indeed written out of what she observed in my life, and several of the things mentioned were real things that happened. The second is because I think my image in my daughter's heart is positive. I can't be a role model for my daughter because of my own problems, but I try to be her partner. Although sometimes I have to show my face to teach, but play games, read books together, and walk around on weekends together, I try to accompany her as much as possible.

There's also a copy of Don't Eat Alone this week. It is mentioned in the book: A group of mature and stable relationships needs to be maintained continuously. If you want to gain the trust and help of others, you need to pave the way bit by bit. I agree with this statement. Not only does this phrase apply to colleagues at work, but it also applies to family and friends. Any relationship requires constant maintenance. I'm sure there are relationships that don't require maintenance, but they're certainly rare.

Last week I decided that there would be a small theme for the next weekly audiobook recordings, so let's start this week. This week I want to write about my family home as a child.

My ancestral home is in Fushun, Northeast China. My grandfather’s generation supported the construction of the capital, and the family moved to Beijing with the factory. Later, he said that he wanted to support the Great Northwest, and his father's generation followed the factory to Lanzhou to take root. The family members of a large factory all live together. The bungalows are neatly arranged in rows and surrounded by walls. This is the family courtyard.

In the earliest days, the family’s courtyards were all bungalows, and many trees were planted between the rows of bungalows.

There are elm trees, and Yu Qian'er doesn't know if everyone has eaten them. There are also sweet-scented osmanthus trees, and sweet-scented osmanthus is also delicious. The most common is the pear tree. In the flowering season, the underside of the tree is full of petals, snow-white, and adults and children are reluctant to step on it. After a while, crooked pears will grow, very sour and astringent, but each of us children likes to go up the tree to pick and eat. It didn't taste good after a few bites, so I just threw it away.

There are always old people under the tree to enjoy the shade. The grandpas would shout and play chess, and the grandmothers would smoke cigarettes or do needlework and chat. We kids just run around like crazy, playing all kinds of games we invent.

I like to watch grandpas play chess, even if they don’t understand it, because I think these grandpas are usually very stable, and they start to ridicule each other when they play chess. They win arrogantly, and when they lose, they scold their mothers loudly. Fucking funny.

I also like to hang out with my grandmothers and listen to their owners, Li Jiachuan, chew almost everyone's tongue. I didn't understand it, and people couldn't match the number, but I still liked to hear it. At that time, I felt like I knew some great secret.

Of course my favorite is hanging out with the kids in the yard. We like to dig a hole in the ground, then pee in the hole, then spread a newspaper over the hole, spread a thin layer of soil on the newspaper, and lure people to walk through. Seeing that man stepped on the urine mud, we have the thrill of the conspiracy succeeded.

We also like to hit each other with pebbles. Draw two lines on the ground and divide them into two groups. Everyone stands behind the line and throws stones at each other. At the beginning, everyone was more polite, and the force used was not too big. Later, it would become more and more forceful, and the stones seemed to fly out with the sound of breaking the sky as mentioned in the novel. There are a few masters who can also make arcs, and the end is powerful. This game compares the reflexes when dodging. However, there are many people who were beaten with blood on the head.

Later, the family's courtyard began to build buildings, and the fun was much less. In order to build a building, the trees in the yard were cut down. Paved cement floor. Although there is indeed less dust and mud in rainy days, there is also less shade for the elderly to play chess and chat. We children have no trees to climb, no pits to dig, and it is very boring.

The more buildings are built, the fewer people downstairs. Everyone hides at home and looks downstairs from behind the glass windows, but in fact, adults and children know that there is no fun downstairs.

During the restructuring of state-owned enterprises, many people were laid off. Many people are about to make trouble. For example, some technical experts have made their own explosive packs and plan to blow up several newly built buildings. My house is also in their plans. Fortunately, the security section chief was highly vigilant, and that night, he brought a few savage generals with May Fourth pistols to wipe out this group of people. However, when the news came out, everyone broke out in a cold sweat.

People are dissatisfied because not everyone lives in the building. The first people who live in the building are all the front-line workers in the factory. Everyone has no opinion, but the second wave is all the leaders of the factory, and many leaders have also changed the drawings of the house. , to open up the two suites, thus digging a collective corner. No wonder some people are unhappy.

I often wonder what would happen if those dynamite packets really exploded.

Later, the factory closed down. The family home was sold to a real estate developer. The developers get the land very cheaply. But if you don't build a building, you just drag it on. We ordinary people don't know why. Later, I realized that the original city plan was to build a subway nearby. This news caused land prices and house prices to rise, to the point where the original residents could no longer afford them. I can only take the compensation and go to live in a remote place.

After so many years, the grandfathers who used to mock each other downstairs and the grandmothers who talked to each other have mostly died. Fathers and mothers who were busy working in those days are also getting old. We stupid kids are gone too. Scattered all over the world.

Now the family home is no longer called the ×× family home, but renamed the ×× community. But I still think of the way the family home used to be full of pear blossoms.
