In a world full of gods, every detail is a message
Strangely, in the cinema, the more I sat, the colder I became. I was obviously wearing thick clothes and pants, and even warm socks, but the coldness came from my body. "Southern Witch" talks about a lot of Kedah's local culture where all things have spirits. This is my research field, and I don't think there is anything difficult to understand. This semester I have been talking about these topics since the beginning of the semester, so I watched the film very happily and excitedly. I have been thinking about what else I can do to let more people understand the various subtle references and symbols in this film.
