Miss my dear grandma

When I was a child, Grandma lived in my house for a period of time. Although we didn't get along for a long time, Grandma held an important place in my heart.

Grandma's life was very difficult when she was young. She experienced the era of Japan's invasion of China and the baptism of the Cultural Revolution. Her husband ~ my grandfather passed away very early, leaving Grandma to raise three children alone. Life is not easy.

In my memory, my grandma is a very humorous old man, and talking with her will never feel dull. Grandma worked in the hospital when she was young. She often told me a lot of interesting things that happened in the hospital. I liked listening to her talk about the past.

Grandma was about seventy-five years old when she lived in my house. I remember that I was about eleven years old at the time. Grandma came to live with us from the mainland. My first impression was that Grandma looked very kind, and she often had a face hanging on her face. Smile, there is absolutely no trace of the hardships experienced in youth.

What I love most is listening to Grandma talk about her past and experiences. Grandma was born in Hong Kong and grew up in an intellectual family. She grew up and became an obstetrician and married her grandfather. My grandfather is also a registered western medicine doctor, and his life was very smooth, but because of the Japanese invasion of China, my grandfather moved to Guangzhou to escape the war, and then gave birth to my father.

My grandfather and grandma were born at the wrong time. At that time, my grandfather and grandma encountered the cultural revolution in the mainland. Their houses were confiscated and they were to be criticized. Grandma said that she suffered a lot back then, and what impressed me the most was that she said that she was in those days. The painful experience of being forced to kneel on the glass, the entire knee was injured and bleeding, and there were many, many aggrieved things. I was also very sad when I heard what my grandma said about the past.

Grandma said that in those days my grandfather was seriously ill and could not seek medical treatment in time. My father died when he was a child. Grandma had to raise three children by herself, my father, his two sisters and brother, and my aunt. and uncle.

I think Grandma is really a strong woman, no, she is a superwoman right! It was not easy for her to take on the whole family in those difficult times. Even so, Grandma has a very optimistic, strong and positive personality. In my mind, she is a humorous old man.

Grandma later lived with her uncle, and I lost a lot of opportunities to hear her talk about the past! Even so, whenever we have a party, I will always stick to my grandma and she is talking and laughing, and these scenes are still vivid in my mind.

Grandma spent the last one or two years of her life in a nursing home. Not long after I came out of social work, I remember that she accidentally fell and fell at my uncle's house. No one was at home at that time. Later, my uncle found her and sent her to the hospital. , was rescued. The doctor said that because he was sent to the hospital late, his brain was damaged and his lower body was paralyzed.

After Grandma was admitted to the nursing home, I would visit her every Saturday and accompany her. At the beginning of her admission, she was in good spirits and could talk and laugh with me, but her health quickly declined. Slowly unable to sit up, slowly waking up less and less time, slowly entering a coma...

Grandma was finally sent to the hospital because the toxin from the back sore had entered the blood, and she passed away in a short time!

I miss the days when I got along with Grandma very much. There were many hardships in Grandma's life. Although I didn't get along with her for a long time, her positive and optimistic mood was deeply imprinted in my mind!
