Unforgettable Taste│Indian Cuisine - Delicious and Memories

(edited)

When it comes to unforgettable taste, there is nothing more than Indian food.

It wasn't just cooking, it was a memory with my Indian friends.

The first Indian food I ate was a cup of chai tea.

Our school will have an international week, and every week in the language center, we will hold related activities for everyone to participate in. I still remember that at that time, India made a pot of milk tea, and that cup of milk tea tasted a bit like ginger milk tea , and therefore fell in love with Indian milk tea.

When I was a senior, I met a lot of Indians, and I often asked them if they had made milk tea. After drinking the second cup of milk tea, I found that the taste was different.

Only later did I know that because the spices used in the Indian milk tea Masala tea are different, the taste of the brewed tea is different.

After graduating from university, I found an Indian friend to eat at a restaurant on my birthday as a birthday present for myself, but the chai tea in that restaurant tasted like Chinese medicine!

Besides chai tea I have eaten many different dishes.

Although I don't remember the name, I only remember that the white food is dessert, cooked raw in Nepal. Nepalese cuisine is very similar to Indian cuisine.

I remember that it was the birthday of a certain Indian student. They had dinner outside the kitchen of the international students in the evening. Because the dormitory in our dormitory was very familiar with the Indian students, so I went with the dorm to join in the fun.

The dormitory was on duty that day, so I could only stay for a while. The Indian student took a plate with food and let us go back to the dormitory to enjoy it. I remember that the meat was spicy enough!

That cake is a scallion cake. Roti in Indian cuisine is very similar to a scallion cake, so they bought a scallion cake as a roti.

This is Indian fried rice, it's not spicy at all, but I have a love-hate relationship with Indian food, because I hate tomatoes and onions, but Indian food often has onions and tomatoes.

This is the first time I have eaten with my hands, because I am really curious. My impression is that the rice is very hot, and then I am like a child playing with rice. When they eat, they will squeeze the rice into bite size and throw it away. It is eaten in the mouth, so when I watch them eat, they often keep squeezing the rice.

They know that I am Taiwanese, so when they eat with them, they will give me a spoon very considerately. They also know that I am afraid of spicy food. Every time I eat it, I seem to be breathing fire, so they often ask me if I want water? Or need sugar? I really feel very happy.

This dish makes me miss it so much. I wrote about this event at the City Celebration, the Diwali festival in India. My friends invited me to their party. It was a very special experience, so let me I miss it very much.

The above is the Indian food I have eaten, but in fact, the food I have eaten is not only these, but the photos are not well preserved, unfortunately I can't share it with you.

To add a little knowledge:

In fact, the spicyness of Indian food is not because of curry, but because of Masala, that is, Indian spices. There are many kinds of Indian spices, but they are all called Masala. In addition, Masala also has the function of preserving food.

I remember one day at noon, and it was summer noon, it was very hot, I went to find Indian raw food, because there was a lot of cooking, and there was leftover, but my friend did not put the food in the refrigerator, our habit is, You must freeze the food before you finish eating. After all, in such a hot weather, if the food is not iced in the refrigerator, the food will be spoiled.

So I asked my friend, why don't you put the food in the refrigerator so that you are not afraid of being damaged, so my friend told me that because their dishes all have Masala, but Masala has the function of preserving food, which can prevent the food from being damaged.

Hearing this really opened my eyes!

These are my unforgettable Indian dishes!
