Day 12 - My Worldview: Creativity and Love Wisdom

I couldn't sleep last night, I was tossing and turning in bed, my mind was sorting out and organizing the new and new worldview that had been generated in the past few days. After waking up, it's hard to remember. It seemed that last night's madness was just a moment in time.

At this point, I really want to force myself to write something, even if I don't know what this writing will bring out. I treat freelance writing like an art, full of all kinds of unknowns and surprises. One of my N fantasies is to be an artist. The artist is always exploring the edge of the unknown, she communicates with her intuition and creates a work with her hands.

In astrology, the fifth house represents children and artistic creativity. There are two levels of human reproduction, one is the inheritance of biological offspring, and the other is the inheritance of wisdom and art at the ideological level.

Yesterday I wrote to a friend in an email that I don't want to have children in this life, and I said the same thing to my boyfriend. After saying this, I saw two 4- and 5-year-old boys playing in the backyard with their mother in the neighbors. I felt a little ashamed instantly, as if my attitude towards having children was a bit anti-human. .

Chinese society places particular emphasis on the value of a woman in her roles as mother and wife. In other developing countries, the fertility rate has been decreasing all the time. The female friends around me are quite well educated and excellent in all aspects. They don’t even want to have children. They want to create their own value in life through their own efforts. It is said that the higher the education level of many women, the more successful their careers are, and the less likely they are to have children. I see from these examples that how to distribute my life energy is an alternative. Basically, women with wombs can have children, but few people devote their energy to intellectual and artistic creation, so I choose to be the latter.

Socrates once said that he himself was a wise midwife (midwife). He has no way of generating wisdom himself, but by asking questions he can help other minds realize whether the thoughts they generate are based on illusion or truth. I have a special relationship with Socrates in my whole life, and I have known him since college. The research of my graduation thesis is exactly Plato's "Republic". Although Socrates in "Republic" is only a character depicted by Plato, Socrates is also the archetype of philosophers who "love wisdom" or "friend of wisdom". This "love of wisdom" archetype fills me with inspiration and pursuit.
