Yesterday I finally handed in my resignation letter. I write that this job is not my future career direction. The outside world is also putting more pressure on me than I can bear, causing me to ignore the real needs and voices of my heart. The epidemic has made me realize that life is very short, and only after finishing this job can I find the way I really want to go. Resignation is like relief, there is a feeling of rebirth. The future is full of uncertainties and countless possibilities. I can finally reinvent myself, start from the heart, and explore the subtleties of life. I finally have time to develop the interests and hobbies I have always had.

writing

I think one's ability to write will reveal the quality of one's thinking. If a person's writing is like a running account with no point, so is the person's thinking. I firmly believe that writing skills can be developed. The education we receive is only the beginning. No matter how good the education and teachers are, it can only play a role in enlightenment, and ultimately depends on individual persistence and practice. I have two blogs, Matters and Wordpress, and I plan to write 500-character Chinese posts and 500-character English posts every day to these two blogs. I want to make writing fun. Shape my own voice through writing. I will treat writing like art, writing for writing's sake, for no other purpose.

read

The categories of books I want to read include astrology, modern Chinese history, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, writing and Anthroposophy. Reading opens my perspective, allowing me to temporarily leave my self-centered way of thinking and travel to other times, places, people, and times. I want to be touched by words and inspired by these writers.

money problem

The epidemic made me realize that living a simple life is not difficult. From the end of January until now, I only spent money on food, and the most expensive expense was just a one-way plane ticket to leave mainland China. In special times, as long as I have a house to live in, some food and some living in a beautiful and comfortable natural environment are already very luxurious. I have lettuce, garlic, puff pastry, cilantro and spring onions in my vegetable garden. I think the most important thing is how to live a sustainable life economically and environmentally. This is the lifestyle I really want to explore.
