However, the weight of the two books was easy to carry at a young age like me, but with the devastation of the years, I found that it could not continue like this.

I have always been a fan of physical books, and I used to think that e-books should be a niche market in the past. I still like the feel of paper, and I have also tried the experience of reading e-books with a mobile phone, but it just doesn’t seem to be very good. I have always liked the "touch" of reading.

Until one day, on the Taipei MRT, I saw someone standing reading an e-book and sneaked up to watch it. I was shocked by this device, and I felt that it was not as "dazzling" as reading on a mobile phone. So go home and search for everything about Kindles and e-books right away.

It turns out that e-ink brings the feature that e-books can be read without hurting the eyes. In fact, reading is a long-term thing. Looking through the mobile phone screen, the eyes look at blue light for a long time, which is very harmful to the eyes.

But e-books simply do one thing, which is reading. Therefore, some people will compare e-books with mobile phones, which is not correct, because the functions and essence of the two are different things, just like they will not compare books with TV.

In addition, because the capacity of Kindle is actually not large, it should not be an exaggeration to say that half of the library can be placed in the device. Unless your library is full of comic books, or text books, you should put a few Hundreds of copies are fine.

Of course another convenient place is to buy books. Chinese books, in fact, the amount of books in Amazon China (simplified Chinese) is not low, but some books are not published by Taiwanese publishers. In addition, most of the books I read are related to the Internet industry, so this part is very convenient for me.

The price of e-books is actually relatively cheap compared to the price of physical books. If I need to find some books with Chinese materials, I also save the shipping cost and buy them directly online. After the connection is synchronized, the books will be in the cloud or in the device.

When my Kindle was the lowest in Japanese currency, I bought it while traveling to Japan. I remember that the price at that time was about 2,000 Taiwan dollars. So far, I think it is the best investment I have made so far. The investment of more than 2,000 yuan has brought me a lot of knowledge, and it has accompanied me to many countries and spent a lot of time.

In this era of being attracted by sound and light effects, I really feel that e-readers are really worth starting.

If I want to live a minimalist life, the Kindle should be the first item I put in my backpack.
