Most of the time, I am a squatter, and I have no regular exercise habits before. Since the middle of 2020, I have started to climb mountains regularly. I used to go for several months without interruption. I would go on the trails every weekend. It is a suburban mountain or Xiaobaiyue that is relatively close to the people. It is mainly to make oneself sweat and train the physical strength and skills of mountain climbing. Going out and exercising to breathe can really help relieve negative emotions. As an ordinary human, you will naturally have certain social needs. A few years ago, I discovered an international pen pal website , and I would go there to chat with people in my spare time (the chat function on the station is more exciting, and many people will move to other social software. Such as: LINE, IG, FB), I met an Ecuadorian girl there (later I chatted with her in Spanish, and practiced by the way), I met some people who have been to/lived in Taiwan, and there is no lack of Taiwanese Among the foreigners who are interested in culture and have a certain understanding of Taiwan, there are also many who are learning Chinese or can understand Chinese. Some are aware of music, and there are netizens who like photography and hand-crafting, and often send photos of their works to me.

It's fun to communicate with these people, you can get some positive energy, you can also cultural exchange, practice English or other foreign languages. Although there are not many pen pals I know at this station who can keep in touch with each other for a long time, it is normal for them to break up after a few weeks or a few months. Most of the people I know in my life have not been in close contact with each other for a long time, and they will see it after a long time.

In October last year, I started to implement dietary control in a planned way. It was the first time in my life. The mountain climbing mentioned above was also a part of the plan. After 9 months, my body and weight have changed, and I have learned a lot in the process. The correct concepts and knowledge about diet and fitness feel quite good! The future goal is to go to the gym to retrain (this piece has not been decided yet 😂)

Learning new things is also a very effective way to divert attention & gain positive energy. When you spend a lot of time studying one thing, you will naturally be able to calm down. In addition to the Spanish that I have been learning all the time, I am also slowly learning silhouette films, retouching pictures, blog beautification... etc. In addition, under the guidance of my family, I entered the stock market as a leek and began to learn investment.


The ups and downs of mood are normal, and sometimes there is no way to avoid them. You can only learn to coexist with them. When you are at a low point, you will often feel that you are very useless. It's also easy to get overwhelmed. After getting through it, you will understand that you will not be in adversity all the time, everything will get better and better, with this realization, the next time you hit a trough, your mentality will naturally be more stable.
