"Diary Of A Wimpy Kid" After Reading

I started reading English books recently. The main reason was because the last English test was mainly about reading comprehension. I happened to have a friend who said that this series is very beautiful, so I borrowed it to see.

After watching about five episodes, I have some thoughts to share.

1. Funny, vivid

The author's writing style is very humorous. When it comes to some key words, he will use capital letters and dark colors to stand out. Different interesting things happen every day. With the illustrations that are comparable to stickman, it is easier to understand the content and make the characters change. be more vivid.

2. Every day has a different theme

At the beginning of the first few episodes, the protagonist solemnly stated that this book is not a weekly diary but a diary, and the format of the book is similar to that of a diary, except that the weather and date are not written. Different things happen every day, about family, family, school, friends, myself, extracurricular activities, holidays, and more. With the author's writing style, everything can be interesting, so I continue to read.

3. There are many good words and good sentences

The book contains a lot of good words and sentences, and there are many words that I have not read before. After reading it, I often think: It turns out that this word can be used like this! Or: so that's what the sentence means!
When I see different words, I will copy them down from time to time and write down explanations. Thanks to these books, I have only a few pages less in my vocabulary book to use, and I have learned many different words. I believe my reading ability will definitely be improved. Elevated!

The next exam is only about a month away. I hope my reading comprehension will improve after reading this series! After watching this series, I will continue to watch Harry Potter, after all, I have borrowed it from a friend for a long time, and I have to return it to her quickly.
