A letter to myself ten years ago | Remember these three things for me

Ten years ago, I was just a freshman in my third year of high school. I was a freshman. I didn't know anything, and I was too young.

1. Learn a foreign language used locally in Europe

Don't want to say that you have passed the N2 test in Japanese, enough to apply for exchange and study in Japan, so you start to eat your old book, get the language certificate to get credits, and then take more Japanese courses in the school.

You are too young

In fact, in the end, you will not go to Japan for further study, but go to Europe to study for a Ph.D., and you will go to Belgium, a multilingual country, which consists of Dutch-speaking areas, French-speaking areas and German-speaking areas. Take me to learn more German and French from the school, and also learn Dutch online. Don't be idle and do nothing, just lie down and do nothing, so that I won't get into the current miserable situation:

  • I went to the supermarket to buy water, but I couldn't understand the Dutch language on the package. I found a cheap transparent liquid in a bottle of Baote. I thought it was water.
  • I bought ketchup and wanted to dip my french fries into it. Although I still couldn’t understand the Dutch on the package, I wanted to say that this time I was unlikely to be wrong. When I saw something I thought looked like ketchup, I took it to the checkout. Bought a spicy tomato sauce and killed myself.
  • The local churches are mainly concentrated in the capital Brussels, and the main language used in gatherings is French. If there is no English translation of the entire party, it will simply collapse, and the duck will listen to thunder.

2. Save money early to pay off your student loans

When my parents and my uncle conspired to give our brothers and sisters their own school loans to go to college, and began to plan to release the two of us, we had to be vigilant:

Ready to pay

You must think that it is no big deal, you must pay it back, take a job while you are studying, take a tutor, and then apply for a scholarship should be enough to live, and you can pay off the loan at the same time.

Big mistake! ! !

You did it all, but you still spent money like water, went abroad eight times during college, and traveled all over the world. The United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan (three times), and India have all gone, and only Europe and Australia have not visited. When I graduated, I didn't save half a dime on my body, I spent it all, and I really lost to you.

And you have to go abroad for further study later, and the content of the student loan contract clearly states: When you go abroad to study or work, you must pay off the debt immediately. So save me a little

But now I also think that these experiences of going abroad are not bad. I can reminisce about the young and frivolous life in my life. I will not feel that I was blank during the university period. Tobacco and alcohol students. However, during the postgraduate period, I began to receive the salary from the laboratory, which can save another saving, so that the pressure of paying back the money when I graduate will not be so heavy.

3. Stay in shape

You will definitely want to say: for three years in high school, I ran the playground every day, and went to the snooker team to practice ball at noon and at night. I maintained my exercise habits so well, and I will be able to maintain it well in college after that, and my figure will not be out of shape.

You think so beautifully @@

Crazy and seniors go to eat food and supper, you will gain weight from 55 kg to 65 kg, and the calories burned by exercise are far less than the intake from the mouth. And your level of laziness will continue to rise, you will not want to exercise much, and you will eat a lot when you are stressed, such as sweets.

Be careful, this is not the peak of your life, you will gain 70kg all the way. Because you will get married later, married to a wife who likes to cook with your own hands, and the craftsmanship of your father-in-law and mother-in-law is nothing to say.

Every time we have dinner, my father-in-law will say to you: You are as thin as a monkey, eat more~

The mother-in-law said: don't leave it, it's hard to deal with, eat it all~

It's hard to be fat > <

So give me more exercise! Don't be too lazy to be like a pig.
