Laos' epic "Thao Hung"

The Thao Hung Epic is one of the masterpieces of Lao classical literature, there are various versions, but the most complete and perfect account is Maha Sila Viravong in Bangkok Thailand in 1941 Bundle of 300 palm leaf inscriptions found at the National Library. Maha Sira transliterated this edition into modern Lao in 1942, and it was not until 1988 that the Lao Ministry of Culture published a volume of this masterpiece.
