Politics in NFTs

I have had a matters account for a long time, but I have never used it much. Today, because of nft, I re-read the article here.

Recently, I have been deeply fascinated by the world of nft. In addition to "general" buying and selling, I also observe some cultural trends in it.

Here is a piece of nft news that has attracted much attention: the artist of the popular nft series Jungle Freaks was found to have drawn a group of cartoons that were extremely variousist and supported the Ku Klux Klan almost 50 years ago.

After these comics were discovered, the floor price of Jungle Freaks on Opensea dropped from above 1.2 eth to below 0.2 at one point. Many people initiated a boycott and proposed to burn the nft in their hands or give it away at a price close to zero. And it brought about the first serious discussion about cancellation culture in the nft world, perhaps for the first time.
