🔥 Talking Around the Fire | 7 Things To Do To Get Subscribers

Who is the person with whom you discuss creation most often? Do you have a group of readers close to you? These people are your starter supporters around the fireplace! Share your stove with them or invite them to join to accumulate the first subscribers for your perimeter.
Since the launch of the perimeter function, many applications for internal testing have been received one after another, and more than 30 furnaces have been successfully opened! Matters can only succeed if the author is successful. In this series of "Talking About the Furnace", we will share with you Matty's observations, thoughts, and suggestions on how to open the furnace. We welcome everyone to discuss together. Matty will organize the essence of the discussion into a document for the reference of more writers.

In the last article " Everyone Talking About the Fireplace", Matty shared how to design an interesting fireside plan; and this one is going to talk about, when the stove is turned on and you are ready to add firewood to it, how to do it? Promote your perimeter to get more readers interested in your perimeter?

How do I get my first perimeter subscribers?

  • Before or after the furnace starts, write an article telling readers that the furnace is about to start

The Matt City community is the perfect base for you to spread the word about your perimeter and bring exposure to your perimeter. You, who are usually successful in business in Matt City, have gathered a group of followers, and these readers are the people who are most interested in your creations. Before setting up a kiln, you can send a "fire-opening survey" or "fire-opening notice" to let the community know that you are about to open the fire.

A better time to publicize is to write an opening post for your perimeter after setting up your furnace. Remember to make it clear in the text: the theme of the fire, the frequency of the expected release, how the public chat and broadcast will be used, whether there are additional benefits for subscribers, etc., and attach your fire website to invite readers to join as soon as possible.

  • The people who discuss your creations most often are your first subscribers

Who is the person with whom you discuss creation most often? Who is the person with whom you most often share articles or creative inspiration? Do you have a group of readers close to you? These people are your starter supporters around the fireplace! They are the people who are most familiar with your creative concepts and who are most willing to support you. Share your stove with them or invite them to join (note: the invitation system will be launched soon) when the kiln is just starting to accumulate the first subscribers for your kiln.

This group of first-time readers is also the basis for the diffusion of your best work. After your first regular theme, or five creations, ask them to do one thing for you: share the urn with one or two readers they think will be interested. Tell your readers that their recommendations are important to you, and we recommend that you provide readers with an attractive invitation time, such as holding a book club around the fire, as an opportunity to invite readers to invite more friends to join . Through such word of mouth, the stove is pushed out.

  • Make good use of social media and various public channels

You probably have your own social media, whether it’s a Facebook account, a Facebook fan page, an IG or a Twitter, and there are bound to be people you know. Every social platform is a place for you to exert influence and promote yourself. Your Facebook account has familiar relatives and friends, your fan page has readers, IG has interests, and Twitter has similar issues. Share your fire place with them. .

Another channel worth cultivating is various Facebook groups . Your creation may span different topics. Search for five groups on Facebook that may be interested in your work, join and share your articles. The TA composition of each channel is different. Find out where they are most likely to be interested in your perimeter, and share it generously. This is a key step to get the first batch of subscribers!

Warm reminder, there is a dedicated share button on the Iokao page (three small dots in the upper right corner of the Iokao homepage), press it to share with one click~

  • Introduce your perimeter in an article and invite readers to subscribe

While running the perimeter, you may continue to create work that will be published in Matt City. At the end of the article, attach your brief introduction to the furnace. The introduction is recommended to be 50-100 words, emphasizing your writing theme, giving exclusive rights to furnace friends, etc., and attaching the website address. Readers who are interested in your writing will be able to discover your perimeter more naturally.

What other advanced promotion methods are there?

  • If you have a reader's email, send them a letter

Newsletter is old school, but still one of the most effective ways to reach people, and it's perfect for text creators. You may have initiated creative projects, raised funds, or accumulated a group of readers who have left email addresses on other platforms, and they are also very concerned about your creative progress. After the furnace is on, write a letter to your old friend! Tell them what subject you're going to write about with your stove in Matt City, and invite them to come add firewood for you. If you have established other reader bases, such as telegram groups, Facebook groups, etc., you can also make good use of them so that they can instantly grasp your creative dynamics.

  • Use social media or email signatures to make your fireplace more discoverable

Get a loud slogan for your fireplace and put it in all your signature files, such as the profile column of your Facebook fan page, the signature file of your Facebook posts, your email signature file, etc. Let the perimeter be your business card and a creative base for others to remember you.

  • Make good use of other platforms: why not open a room in the clubhouse and chat about your creations!

Make good use of the features of different platforms to reach different readers and expand your readership! Clubhouse is very popular recently, so why not try to use your voice to chat about your creations? Maybe it will attract a group of readers who don't know you but are interested in your creative theme! A small reminder, you can also put Matters' personal homepage in the bio of clubhouse, so that friends can recognize you at a glance; you are also welcome to join Matt's club in clubhouse to find more citizens.

It is not easy to set up a perimeter and try to get more subscribers. You may feel "shy" or "burdened" when promoting externally, but as shared by some creators on the site, take the initiative to go Running yourself is critical for a mature creator, at least you help readers discover you, not wait to be discovered.

This is a very difficult step. Expanding the boundaries and possibilities of life is always disturbing, but once you go out, there are likely to be unexpected rewards. Good luck!
