Life Experience: The First Ticket

The first ticket of "freshly released", this is a bit exciting for the usually well-behaved daughter. . .

As Uncle Yideng said: "The more life experiences the better, the more exciting the ups and downs, the better; don't be afraid of experience, just be afraid that life will be blank."

This time, I'm going to talk about my daughter's "freshly released" first ticket, which is a bit exciting for her usually well-behaved daughter.

Daughter's first ticket

One of the commonly used modes of transportation in the Northwest New Territories of Hong Kong is the light rail . The platform for this kind of transportation is not closed, but open. Before getting on and off the train, take an Octopus (that is, Taiwan's EasyCard) to enter and exit the station to deduct money. , or buy a ticket at the platform before boarding the train. Because of the open platform, the subway company will regularly send staff to the train to check whether passengers have purchased valid tickets.

My daughter usually takes the light rail to and from school, so we bought a child Octopus for her to make it easier for her to use the car, and added value-added Octopus for her regularly.

Yesterday morning, my husband sent his daughter to school as usual, and went out to take the light rail. . . About 20 minutes later, I received a text message from my husband saying that the light rail they were taking was checked by the subway staff, and they found that my daughter did not take the Octopus to enter the station before getting on the train. . . I woke up immediately, thinking that with such a low chance, are we going to buy Mark Six today? Then how much is the fine?

I said the reason for the low chance is that 7-8 o'clock in the morning is a super busy time for work and school. There are a lot of passengers waiting on the platform. The light rail may not get on the train when it arrives. It may take two or three trains. It was very crowded when we got into the car, and there was no space at all. This has caused a lot of grievances, so the subway is less likely to send staff to check tickets during this time.

Second, we usually teach our daughter to take a picture of the Octopus entering and exiting the station, and we will remind her when we go to the platform.

I checked the Internet, "If a fare evasion passenger is found, the personal information of the passenger will be registered and a ticket will be issued. The amount is HK$290, the same price." No fines, just be named, and send out the cute pink notice above.

I think it should be the light rail staff who understand that people are going to work and school during this busy period, rushing to catch the train and forgetting to tap the card to enter the station. In addition, the inspection machine equipped by the staff can see the past entry and exit records, and also know that my daughter usually takes an Octopus to buy tickets to get on the bus.

I thought the incident was over for a while, and the husband said that his daughter was annoyed with him and would not talk to him. I responded to my husband and said that my daughter is usually timid. She should have been very scared and blamed herself when she was checked for tickets. She should be very unhappy now. Let her husband comfort her, don’t blame her, and help her relax because she has an exam today. !

After a long time, I believe that my daughter will be more attentive and more conscious about the matter of taking a card in the car in the future.
