The experience of a Taiwanese studying in the mainland

I was born in 1999 and came to the mainland with my parents in 2000. From kindergarten to university, I studied in the mainland. This article describes my experience from elementary school to high school.

Kindergarten to elementary school:

My kindergarten was similar to other people’s, and I didn’t sign up for any interest classes at that time. Every day in class, I played games, crafts, and watched animations (I would teach literacy and numeracy to the big class). There is no homework at home, and I go crazy with my good friends in the community at night or gather at a person’s house to watch cartoons together. That's the end of the day. Three years are over in a flash.

In the first grade of elementary school, he joined the Young Pioneers in a confused way. I remember one day the teacher asked us to go to the playground, waited for a while, and then someone tied a red scarf to us and became a "glorious" Young Pioneer. At that time, I really thought it was stained with blood (・_・;). Being a Young Pioneer has no use or any task, but you have to wear a red scarf every day (no points will be deducted) (laughs).

Afterwards, during the Wenchuan earthquake, I donated 108.5 yuan (I remember it clearly because it was the money in my piggy bank) and my mother gave me 100 yuan, a total of more than 200 yuan, which is the largest donation in our class. (When I grow up, I probably also know that the money will not go to the disaster area, but to the godfathers of Guo Meimei. Alas~)

At that time, there was a must-read book called "Red Rock". Thick and smelly. It's a must-have book for brainwashing. After reading it, I have to write about the feeling after reading it. I have to write a lot of words. I copied it from the Internet (laughs).

Because I am from Taiwan, when the teacher talks about the Kuomintang reactionaries, everyone always looks at me. He also looks at me when he talks about Taiwan independence elements, thinking that I am. And my nickname was the Kuomintang Reactionaries for short. (Now I am really a "rebel")

I was still very angry when the Diaoyu Islands incident in Japan happened. When the earthquake in Japan was still applauded, it was like a small self-made five (covering his face).

After six years of elementary school, he graduated.

To sum up, brainwashing education starts from elementary school. When we were in elementary school, we were asked to sing "Without the Communist Party, there would be no new China", "Learn from Lei Feng's good example, be loyal to the revolution, and be loyal to the Party", and said, "The red scarf was dyed red with blood by revolutionary martyrs." And there are ideological and moral (politics) classes in elementary school. At that time, I was a lover of the People's Republic of China, the Communist Party of China.

Middle School:

Middle school and high school are in two local boarding schools. I will tell the story of two teachers.

Junior high school history teacher:

We do not take the history test in the senior high school entrance examination, so the teacher is just "crashing" with us in class. I remember him saying when he was talking about the May 4th Movement (not necessarily precise, but the gist of it): "Don't look at the students who want Mr. Desai now, and also burn down the Zhaojialou. After exactly one month, they will ask again. People will be crushed by tanks and stabbed by machine guns." (I also asked at the time: Did China have tanks in 1919? 😅)

When talking about the people's commune, he said: "Do you believe in ten thousand catties per mu? Anyway, the great Chairman Mao believed it, Qian Xuesen believed it, Liu Shaoqi, and Peng Dehuai didn't believe it, and they were criticized after that."

"Someone is really a catastrophe for the Chinese people."

"Back then, Hu Shi said: 'Americans come with bread and freedom...', but his son refused to listen and followed the Communist Party, and was killed in a fight."

"At that time, an old professor from Tsinghua University came to teach us the ninety-nine multiplication table, but he didn't come after that because he fell ill and died in the cowshed."

"What kind of friends did China have at the time? North Korea, the Khmer Rouge... It's what kind of people make what kind of friends."

......

In short, "smearing the party-state". At that time, I was still young and didn’t know so much, and I thought he was really smearing the Communist Party (I was still doing five by myself at that time). When I grew up, I realized that this is really a good teacher.

In the third year of junior high, I wanted to join the group, but I was not allowed to join because I was a Taiwanese (fortunately, I didn't join).

High school Chinese teacher:

The high school Chinese teacher is an old grandmother who is about to retire. She went through the Cultural Revolution and seemed to retire after teaching us. During the Cultural Revolution, because of her composition, her family was criticized, but she was rehabilitated later, and then she went to university and became a teacher.

When he was talking about "Puppy Baodi" (Ba Jin later wrote a confession article about the fact that he sent his puppy to the hospital for autopsy during the Cultural Revolution), he told us about things in their place, mainly from the same village, which was very disturbing. sad thing.

When it came to remembering Liu Hezhen, she suddenly said, "Would you like to hear me tell a story?" Then she said: In 1989, she was still teaching in a ** (a small place), when... ...

The content, including the cause and the local students' sit-in in front of the government gate, were all told to us. At that time, when she saw that the Communist Party said that it would not settle accounts after the fall, she told her students that the Communist Party must suppress it, and you should come back and have a good class...

Later, during the winter vacation, she recommended us to watch Bao Pengshan's "New Talks about Hundred Masters of All Masters", which talked about Shang Yang's five arts of taming the people and so on. It's one of my starter books. Combined with what the Communist Party has done plus Xi Jinping's constitutional amendment.

From now on, I no longer believe in the nonsense of the Communist Party.

She is gentle and kind to students. Is a good teacher and elder. I often see her going to the supermarket to buy small dried fish and sausages for the cat at school.

As long as there are such teachers, brainwashing will not succeed.
