甘記的招牌，是蕃茄刀削牛肉麺，初入口時，覺得湯稍甜，幾口麵下肚後，再喝稍降溫的湯，精燉牛肉湯那種圓潤不膩的滋味就能顯現。

甘記刀削麺，麵條薄而寬，比大部分台灣常見刀削麵寬了半公分，優點是沾湯吸味效果較好。

最令人激賞的是去皮少籽的燉番茄，跟大塊切入湯裡的牛腱肉互相按摩，酸甜適中，口感不錯。

這家店炒餅跟蔥油餅頗受好評，晚餐時幾乎都賣完，小菜普通，專心享用牛肉麵、餅類料理是正經。
