歌劇的週末
最近迷上歌劇，雖然聽不懂義大利文，但真的可以被詠唱者的歌聲裡情緒所觸動。
我推薦這首是義大利歌劇 Artaserse 裡的 護士茱迪 ( La Gluditta ) 在謀殺 赫洛弗尼司 (Holofernes) 前，讓他安睡的搖籃曲。
作曲家是 Alessandro Scarlatti 1660 -1775 (亞歷山大·史卡拉第)

Philippe Jaroussky， 法國著名的歌劇演唱家。他的聲音既感性、又圓潤甜美，猶如女高音那般細緻， 他將這首搖籃曲詠讚的平靜深沉，但又如此悲愴。
Philippe says. "That being said, I am very fond of oratorio as a genre, because I think composers of this period often give of their best when setting the great stories of the Old Testament. It takes a stronger sense of spirituality to embody a saint – or even to portray God himself – in music than to give expression to the amorous passions of a prince or a queen."
