This was originally an achievement of Hong Kong and the pride of Hong Kong people, but it happened to be pumped out. Some domestic media wrote Kit Chi as a team from Hong Kong, China, and a similar title appeared, "Congratulations! Kit Chi became the first team to advance to the AFC Champions League knockout round. China's Hong Kong team"; "2-2! AFC Champions League is very cold! Hong Kong, China football has made history and advanced to the top 16 in 90 minutes" and so on. One of the reasons is that there were originally three Chinese Super League teams that were eligible to participate in the AFC Champions League group matches. However, due to the epidemic, some teams were in financial difficulties and had terminated contracts with many foreign players and even high-priced local players, and other factors. In the end, Shanghai The team withdrew, and Guangzhou and Shandong only sent second-tier players and youths to participate. The results were of course terrible. Except for the Shandong team to score one point in a draw, they all lost, and the Guangzhou team failed to even score a goal. Therefore, upon seeing the performance of Hong Kong Jie Zhi, he immediately turned his attention. At first, he brazenly said, "Jie Zhi has won the second victory of the Chinese team in this year's AFC Champions League", even omitting the word Hong Kong, and even saying " Win glory for the "Chinese Super League" club."

Jiezhi is actually an old club in Hong Kong with a long history. It was established in 1931 before the war (then was the era of the Republic of China), and then participated in the Hong Kong League. After the war, it was a powerhouse that won many championships. It once produced stars such as Yao Zhuoran and Lin Shangyi (Uncle). Later, only in Groups B and C, until the late 1980s, did it make a comeback and strengthen the team with modern management. By the 2002-03 season, after coach Chen Hongping led the team back to the first division, Kit Chi has become a strong team in Hong Kong. In recent years, it has won the Hong Kong Super League championship five times and represented Hong Kong in Asia many times Club-level facts, it is definitely a Hong Kong team.

Another fact is that Hong Kong and China are both members of FIFA and the Asian Football Association (AFC), and there is no rank for membership. The Chinese Football Association was established in 1924 and joined FIFA in 1931, clearly the football association of the Republic of China. After the civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, when the People's Republic of China was established, the Kuomintang retreated to Taiwan, and both sides competed for the legal representation of FIFA members. Ultimately, at its 1952 annual meeting, FIFA confirmed that the Chinese Football Association (CFA) was the legal representative of the FIFA membership that began in 1931, but two years later, under strong opposition from China, FIFA accepted Taiwan as the Member of FIFA.

Afterwards, China moved to expel Taiwan from FIFA several times, but it was unsuccessful, and finally proposed to withdraw itself. According to the procedures at that time, the Chinese Football Association should formally announce its withdrawal in writing by registered mail within three months after the oral announcement, but FIFA has never received an official letter, so it still regards the Chinese Football Association as a member. The incident has been turbulent for years, and China has continuously demanded the expulsion of Taiwan. There is absolutely no room for turning around. It was not until 1980 that a compromise solution that everyone could compromise was introduced, that is, to allow Taiwan to continue in the name of Chinese Taipei. China officially participated in FIFA competitions after this matter came to an end. Therefore, the first time China participated in the World Cup qualifiers was the one hosted by Spain in 1982. The ball needs to be held in the play-offs in Singapore. Hong Kong has become a member of FIFA in 1954, and began to participate in the World Cup qualifiers in the 1974 edition hosted by West Germany.

Since China began to participate in the World Cup qualifiers, it has been in the same group with Hong Kong many times, and has established a hostile relationship (Rivalry). However, Hong Kong was defeated by a goal, but Hong Kong advanced, and riots broke out after the game. Since then, the two sides have developed independently. Even after 1997, Hong Kong will participate in the competition in the name of Hong Kong, China, and the Chinese national anthem will also be broadcast, but everyone is two different units.

Also in the Asian Cup (AFC Asian Cup), Hong Kong was the first host country in 1956, and China did not compete for the first time until 1976. Everyone is a member of the Asian Football Association and FIFA, but two different subjects, who said not to bring politics into sports?

Some places are constantly rewriting history and whitewashing themselves. The May 4th Movement, which has a history of over a hundred years, has now been distorted as a patriotic movement and advocates tolerance. In addition to our constant vigilance, we must also defend historical truth. The most outrageous thing about the whole thing is that the Hong Kong government and the Hong Kong Football Association kept silent, not even a word of congratulations, as if it had never happened. He also talks about upholding one country, two systems, and often does not say a word at important junctures. In fact, do they know who they are defending against when they say defending one country, two systems? Of course, it is the "one country", because it has the power and conditions to undermine the "one country, two systems". Change a little here and make up for it there. One day, one country will completely override the two systems, and the two systems will exist in name only, and this day may be over. is past tense.

As a Hong Konger, I just want to keep the truth. Kit Chi is a Hong Kong football club and a Hong Kong Super League team.
