Year-end list | Goodbye 2021
One thing that will affect you a lot this year, even enough to change your life
One of the most important things this year is that I can continue to write. Although I have not been able to do daily updates, so far, I have published 110 articles in Matt City.
Apart from the Chinese composition class in middle school, I never thought that I could write more than 100 essays in one year, which is a small achievement this year. I dare not say that all the articles are excellent works, but all of them are written with sincerity and sincerity, which can be regarded as painstaking efforts.
Moreover, this year, I still have to take care of parenting, family and work, and then make time to write. Speaking of which, I also admire my perseverance and timing (hee...
I hope to continue writing next year and be able to break the number of articles I have produced this year! 💪🏻💪🏻
One thing you have changed this year
The biggest change this year should be moving, moving out of the home that I've lived in for over 9 years, the home that I've been living in since my husband and I got married.
That home is full of memories of the past nine years. It would be a lie to say that we did not regret that home. In that home, we have experienced the birth and growth of two daughters one after another, promotions and resignations at work, as well as quarrels, anger, cold wars, etc. We are grateful to that home for always standing silently, caring for us tenderly and forgiving us. . .
With these full of memories, move to a new rental home and start a new life. After living here for about four months, everyone is still used to the new life style, thank you.
I don't know what will happen in the future, but if the family can be together, we can build our home sweet home!
Three next year plans "event name", "reason or reason", "how to achieve this thing"
First thing planned: Reduce social media use
Reason or reason: I don't mean to completely isolate social media, but I hope that the time spent on social media, which is the time spent browsing facebook, can be greatly reduced. I want to turn my time using social media this year into other things I want to do.
There are a lot of things that I want to do next year. In addition to continuing to write and publish articles in Matt City, I want to spend more time reading books and writing book reviews. For writing, there is only input before output!
In addition, I have been wanting to write articles on insurance and financial management this year, sharing my knowledge and experience of learning insurance and financial management, hoping to help everyone understand how to arrange financial and insurance matters for themselves.
How to do it: The first thing is to control when you can use social media from your phone. Roland, Japan's No. 1 cowherd, had personal experience that he asked a good friend to help him set a password to limit the phones he couldn't use in the morning hours. Whether it's true or not, but it seems like a good way to set a time slot for using social media or facebook, it will prevent yourself from opening facebook too many times, right? ! Because sometimes when I open the facebook APP, it seems like I can't stop, and I keep browsing one post or one video after another. Although this is the way of elementary school chickens (children of elementary school students), it should work well!
The second is to limit the time to use social media and arrange other activities that you want to do, such as writing articles, reading books, etc. Wrote more than 100 articles this year, an average of two articles per week, and the tentative goal for next year is three articles per week, so keep up the good work!
Second planned thing: learn to draw
Reason or reason: I've always admired people who can easily turn a blank sheet of paper into a beautiful picture with a few strokes of a paintbrush. Because of the shadows of childhood, I have always felt very inferior in terms of art. Since I was a child, I felt that I had no artistic talent, did not know how to draw, and seldom used a pen, for fear of being laughed at by others.
However, I still hope that one day I can turn a blank sheet of paper into a beautiful picture with a paintbrush like those who can paint.
Another reason is that my good friend has been posting a daily picture on Facebook for the past two months, in order to express the mood or work of the day, and it feels very healing. The intention of her painting is like that of the author of Matt City through writing articles, which helps her to settle her mood after a busy day.
How to do it: As a beginner, there is no restriction on the form or type of drawing.
Also, watch related books or software Youtube every week. In fact, in the past few years, I have borrowed some books about painting from the library or bought some books in the bookstore, but I just lacked motivation, so I did not try or practice.
The so-called Practice makes perfect (practice makes perfect), I have felt more realistically in recent years that as long as you are willing to spend time and continue to practice, hard work will be rewarded, so it is time to start painting!
The third planned thing: opening a network
Reason or reason: Starting a blog is also something that I wanted to do a few years ago. There were two main reasons why I didn’t dare to open a blog at that time. First, I was worried about technical problems. Many people thought it was easy to open a website. Computer programming is super novices, I should do some research before opening it.
Second, I was worried that after I started a blog, I wouldn't write and update it frequently, which would lead to a waste of webpages. However, in the past two years, I have written one hundred and seventy-eight articles on Matt City. Although it is not a daily writing, but it is also a good result for myself! So, it's time to start a private writing garden for yourself and keep a backup copy of Matt City's articles.
How to achieve this: I might be able to directly ask a computer professional to help me when I start a blog, but I want to be more involved in this matter and give myself a little motivation to learn some computer knowledge through this matter. Therefore, I may first find a few teaching articles on blogging and crawling technical articles to make up for it, and then ask experienced friends for help, so as to avoid being a "hands-on party" directly.
Today is the last day of 2021. I wish everyone a safe and happy new year, good health, and a happy life!
