[Witch's Journey] Attack on the Town
Today I want to introduce a very special German town
Nördlingen
Although it's not a large area and therefore not well known by many people, since Attack on Titan used this place as a prototype, the town has also had more non-European tourists.
Most of the city walls are also free to open, and you only need to pay to go to the Clock Tower Museum. The exterior and interior of the city walls of "Attack on Titan" are imitated like this!
About 150,000 years ago, a huge meteorite landed on this place. There was a 25km crater. Later, people started to build tribes next to the meteorite. Unique crater town and ruins of an ancient Roman castle .
Another famous attraction in the town is an old clock tower. In ancient times, the guards on the bell tower would shout "So, G'sell, so." at a specific time, which was used to call the guards outside the bell tower to make sure that the guards were all awake and the gates were closed. .
Because of the meteorite, when it hit the ground, it also formed a very special stone, and fine diamond components can also be found in it. The locals use these stones to build towns, so if you look at the walls of this place with a microscope, you may see tiny diamonds.
However, in addition to "Attack on Titan", as early as 1971, "Chocolate Master" was filmed here.
In 2016, Wiki said, it was also selected as the location for the animation " Blessings for a Beautiful World ".
The town is quite small, and you can finish it all in one day, but if you are tired of cities like Munich, you can go to a nearby town to experience a different style and a leisurely time.
Hope @Red brother likes this little introduction XD
