1. When was reading/writing introduced?

It can be traced back to middle school, a Chinese teacher inspired students. The teacher purchased literary works suitable for young people to read for 8 classes (the difficulty level is about the level of "Harry Potter"), and asked the 8 classes to exchange readings in turn, and also asked everyone to write and write down their thoughts after reading.

In high school, due to the pressure of entering a higher school, all the time was spent on textbooks, and less time was allocated to extracurricular books.

During the military school period, because of the control order on mobile phones/computers, when I was on vacation, I would bring the books I ordered from the blog back to the camp, and use the fragmented time during lunch break, after class, and before going to bed to read.

After leaving the society, because of the relationship of running a "public book club" (more on this later), I read more frequently, which complemented each other.

2. You wrote on Medium in the early days, why did you move to Matters?

Agree with two concepts of Matters:

3. The opportunity/initial intention of establishing the "Public Welfare Book Club" community?

In 2018, I came into contact with public welfare. Through World Vision, I arranged to adopt a child living in India.

When communicating with this foreign adopted son on a regular basis, I would report to him some of the things I was doing recently; one day, I suddenly had the realization that "life affects life", and I wanted to convey and expand this concept. The form of love - read books, and then tell others.

4. How does the "Public Welfare Book Club" operate? Divided into North, Central and South? 🔥

5. How to sustainably operate the "Public Welfare Book Club"? 🔥

Achieving "sustainable operation" is a goal to urge yourself, so that this study will not be interrupted due to personal factors (such as overtime, burnout period and other sources of pain).

Earlier, before the outbreak of the epidemic, the registration fees received were donated "all" without thinking, sometimes nourishing, sometimes drying up, which is not a long-term strategy for stability.

After the outbreak of the epidemic, now, through the "operational fund" charter, a set of rules is used to determine how much to donate, so that it can be stable and sustainable.
