📝📝Realistic Rebellion Ep. 5|Parallax, Dimension, Depth of Field, Deformation
The image captured by each camera is affected by the following factors:
- Parallax
- dimension
- depth of field
- deformation
Everything we see in the image is simulated by various components on the camera, and the simulated image will create another kind of "reality" through the action of the above four factors, which is no longer familiar to us. world. In other words, we need to get images through the focal length of the lens, the aperture and the viewing window, however, through these objects we realize a distorted world.
The focal length of the lens will cause the subject to deform, and it will show different degrees of deformation under different focal lengths, which is a situation that occurs under the refraction of optical lenses. The aperture on the lens controls the degree of background blur. When shooting with a single-lens camera, the image will naturally have a depth of field effect, which allows the photographer to focus on the subject; however, what the human eye sees The world is not as strongly gelatinized as the image, that is, the depth of field created on the image tells the viewer where to look, keeping the subject sharp and blurring the rest of the background.
In the English language, it happens that "shooting" and "photography" are the same two words "shoot" , and this word describes the action of "opening one eye and closing one eye". The viewing window forces the photographer to take pictures with the aimed single eye, and immerses the photographer in the atmosphere of photography through the small viewing window; however, when one eye is closed, the human eye cannot create parallax. In other words, the world seen through the viewing window is a world without parallax. The disappearance of parallax is followed by a dimensionality reduction blow to reality. The image compresses the real world from a three-dimensional three-dimensional plane into a two-dimensional plane.
