Suggestions for using the interface for the city of Matt

I have been using Matters for some time, and I use the areas that I think can be improved, and provide a reference for the development team of Matters @Matters Lab @Appreciate the Citizens Republic

Ctrl+Enter to send a comment

After leaving a comment on Matters, I still need to move the mouse to send and press it to send, which is a little troublesome.

This may be my personal habit. On facebook or some software, you can often press the Ctrl+Enter key combination after typing the text, and you can send it out. You don't need to find the mouse and move it around.

Show QR code scan to transfer money to support author

I think the article is well written, and when you want to support it, after pressing down, it will jump out of the Hong Kong dollar or likecoin support.

Click on Likecoin, there are three preset numbers to choose from (at the time my wife thought she could only choose from these three, and transfer 166 at a time)

After that, I have to log in and confirm again. I always feel that the process is very cumbersome (maybe I don’t support many people at one time, so I have to log in every time)

When you enter Matters, you have already logged in, and you have bound the Liker ID. It is a bit troublesome to log in "again" to support it.

It is suggested that you can make money directly in this step. If you really need an additional layer of authentication, it is recommended to simplify the "support" into a QR code, pick up the phone, scan it, transfer it out, and get it done. Login is also saved, screen switching is also saved, and the user experience is believed to be smoother.

"Tracking" can be classified into "days"

My usage habit is that after logging in, I will check the notification to see if anyone has left a message. If there is, I will reply as soon as possible, and sometimes even inspired, I can start another article from the message.

After reading the notification, it's time to watch the tracking.

The tracker will arrange the articles published by the people I have tracked in chronological order, but sometimes it only comes up once every two or three days, and I have to keep scrolling until I recall which one I saw. If it can be based on time, say

  • today
  • yesterday
  • the day before yesterday
  • long ago

According to this classification, I can quickly scroll to where I want to see and continue.

Edit articles using Markdown syntax

After editing the article in Matt City, choose the way to modify the format. Although what you see is what you get, if you can choose to edit it in markdown, it is convenient for offline editing and clipping directly. However, this may be a big change for the matters system! The difficulty is relatively high.
