Personality︱From the Solo Exhibition of the Trembling Soul, Meet Chiharu Shioda
Shioda Chiharu
Chiharu Shiota, a contemporary artist, was born in Osaka, Japan, and currently lives in Berlin, Germany. She has created a wide range of paintings, performance art, installation art, and stage design. . . Even the fusion of multiple elements, she suffered from ovarian cancer in 2005, and relapsed again in 2017. Perhaps it is the realization of the process of resisting the disease. There are many elements of life, soul, death, etc. in her works, and there are also many materials drawn from daily necessities. Creation is like wrapping the human body with a transparent hose, red liquid flowing through the transparent hose, using red thread to symbolize blood vessels and interpersonal relationships, using shoes, clothes and keys. . . as the subject of creation. . .
Getting to know Chiharu Shioda from the quivering soul solo exhibition
In fact, before I saw the exhibition, I didn't know Shiotian Chichun at all, and I directly admitted that I was not a literary artist, nor a person who likes to watch exhibitions, but a friend around me would throw out the exhibition information from time to time [sometimes there are group tickets! ], so occasionally when I have nothing to do, I will also go to the exhibition and pretend I am a literary youth, but I have a habit of not checking the information in advance, and looking at it from an angle that has no preset position at all. The exhibition, this time I just saw the exhibition information lost by my friends, and because of the epidemic, I said in the group +1 to go to see it a long time ago, but when I went to see the exhibition, I had completely forgotten what exhibition it was. After I got the tickets on the spot, I wrote down Shiota Chiharu’s name, and after watching the exhibition, I started to do my homework. I checked the artist’s background and creative process. To be honest, when I saw her own photos, it was the same person I imagined when I looked at the work. The gap is quite big. Shioda Chiharu herself looks like a shy and introverted eldest sister next door, which is very different from the strong feelings presented by her works, but recalling that her works have many intertwined elements, which symbolize many entanglements. After thinking about it, it doesn't seem to be too inconsistent. Maybe her works can resonate with many people, just because what she wants to express is actually very close to people's lives, right? Just like the first impression she gave, art and artists are actually not so distant from ordinary people, right?
The reason why I don't do my homework before viewing the exhibition, but after viewing the exhibition, will I go to check the information if I am curious. I have his own source of inspiration for his creation, but in the end, everyone can see the feeling and the information received can be different, so I don’t want me to have a preset answer in advance to go to the exhibition, and then when I check the information , I saw Shiota Chiharu also said similar things in an exclusive interview:
I think the best thing about contemporary art is that it does not have a correct answer. From: [ Excellent People] Interview with Chiharu Shioda: A contemporary artist who sees through life and death with silk threads. [ Volume 500 - Chiharu Shioda ]
It seems that I am not that far from the art hanging? 〔laugh!
Vibrating Soul Solo Exhibition
This exhibition is probably the most impressive work for me. It is called Uncertain Jurney . The hull is composed of black lines and the large-scale installation art formed by the winding of countless red lines. I especially like winding. The shadows formed by the lines on the ground due to the light are a bit like water waves!
I took pictures here and there to avoid the crowd. I managed to take a few photos of no one. Fortunately, there were few people at that time. Yesterday, I heard that another friend wanted to make an appointment to see the exhibition and it was full! ! ?
Then a colleague said that she saw an introduction and said: In Shiota Chiharu's works, should there be talents who have vitality? All right! Fortunately, I still got it [a bit insistent], but I can accept it [too narcissistic too? ].
Taken for me by a friend: There are pictures of me on an uncertain journey

Accumulation – Searching for the Destination
I also like the combination of light and shadow that this work casts on the ground and walls.
