The movie "Dalai Lama's Life" (Kundun) shows me the bright side of human nature
I recently watched the movie "The Dalai Lama's Life", and it was a little difficult to calm down. I was trying to understand why he could still insist on not fighting when his Tibetan people were killed by the Communist Party. Ordinary people must have emotions, especially because sadness turns to hatred, and finally loses reason, but the Dalai Lama did not. I can't help but admire from the bottom of my heart.
Finally, I figured out that the karma caused by other people's bad deeds will be borne by himself, but if the Dalai Lama starts a war, there will be casualties, which is equivalent to causing karma to his own Tibetans, so he chooses not to fight.
"People are doing it, the sky is watching." It's not that the time has not yet come. This is what I have always heard in my meditation classes. We can't control others, so we can only learn to let go of some things in order to make our hearts feel better. After reading the Dalai Lama's life, I admire him for not letting his emotions affect his judgment, and he still insists on doing the right thing. Although 72 years have passed and he has not had a chance to return to Tibet, his kind thoughts continue to influence the world. . Reminds me of the Avengers. Although there are still heroic sacrifices in the final chapter, the spirit is not dead. There is a bright side and a dark side. I can't control others, but I can control myself to become a kind person and affect more people. Evil can not prevail I don't know, but I know bad guys can't influence the strong me!
Although this movie does not have gorgeous and exciting scenes, and even the trailer is very bland, but after watching the whole movie, it made me think about a lot of things, and I seem to have some insights. Thanks to my mother for taking me to see it when I was young Non-mainstream movies, let me know that movies are not only for entertainment, but also for thinking about philosophical and life issues. It is recommended that you go to the cinema to see it. It is currently being released in Taiwan. You can also read the introduction of extended reading.
